OK yesterday morning. Yesterday afternoon all I got was "timed out" messages. Did a bit of a search online and found that the site was offline.

BTW - why, every time I refresh the page, does the site revalidate that I'm human?

Just created a new post, or, more to the point, I tried to. Typed it all in, hit the button to post it, got the verifying youse yooman page, screen went back to the thread list and... no post. Others have had problems like this and logging out and back in has proven to be the solution. So, log out, log in and... my new post aint there.

had same thing a few days back MA - ended up retyping it 4 times - thankfully it was short. Now if I do anything longer I copy the text before hitting "post" so dont at least have to retype it

Just retyped the post the thread that disappeared. It's gone AWOL again following the "R U yooman" page. All there is, is a blank page with the URL https://boards.footymad.net/newthrea...tthread&f=2428

Same here, though I do find if you post using the advanced tab at the bottom the post gets posted even if your logged out, well most times, but copy your post before doing anything!!

Here's a new one. Couldn't get in as my Norton Security flagged Footymad as a dangerous site that phishes for sensitive data such as credit card numbers etc.

I've now flagged it as safe and can get in once more.

But good moderation and conversation stimulation makes a busy message board...Faildale you've killed it with this ..... the board not making it busy. At least in our days there were 80+ active posters and at least 30 busy threads every day. Just sayin! 😘
