One home defeat, two away draws and the Funsters are getting cocky again.
Hopefully we put them back in their box on Sunday.

What’s funnier is that that was going to be the Great Turning Point where history would correct itself and the Funny Wee Team would re-establish themselves as the Big Team in the City and their attendances would rocket past ours as the punters flooded back.

    Yep, that worked out well.

It's like I said in the post about walking down Dens Road after the Rapid game and the car full of Funsters shouting abuse at us. Absolutely miserable existence, sitting waiting for something negative to happen to United then driving round the town celebrating as if they've just won something.

The Craig Whighton p1sh - an injury time winner at home against the worst United team in half a century = froth fest.

There's definitely a Sevco feel about some of their support.

Uniteds had far worse teams than that one in 2016, maybe you're too young to remember.

My main memory was being more annoyed we lost the derby than the relegation being confirmed, drawing confirmed relegation officially not the winning goal but losing the game was more annoying as the relegation was already inevitable from the moment we lost at firhill midweek before that, that was last chance saloon

We needed to win our last 4 games and hope an inform Killie didn't get a point or something stupid like that, they really didn't directly cause the relegation, I was happening regardless

I found their reactions amusing, it gave them a huge night though which they never went on to take advantage of as they know all too well which will bug them way more than anything else

I think 2005 where we were both directly battled relegation to the end and us winning the relegation derby with 3 games left then won in Inverness to confirm they were Doon was better and had a much more direct impact, from 9 PTS behind to 3 ahead, and we took advantage, had a very good decade and won a trophy

I'm the total opposite tbh. I'm completely devastated that I've never had a doon derby to celebrate. I'd swap that day at Dens in May 83 and the Scottish Cup wins, the Eufa Cup final and European cup semi final (cheating Italian c*nts!) All for a mug that reminds me of the glorious night we relegated the big team in the city!

    Yeah right! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

FAR worse than what Mixu was putting out on the park? Really? We've certainly had worse teams since then, but I can't think of much worse prior to the 2016 rabble. Even the team that went down in '95 were better than that.
