That’s your opinion. I don’t know what the dire consequences you speak of are, but I see you’ve been noticeably silent on the accusations of racism issue.

Answering the second part first: 1) I have a life that this forum doesn’t form part of, 2) I respond at my own pace and 3) I asked a question, you responded, issue closed

Regarding the first part, you need to become more well read /researched

Hmmm…evasive as ever when challenged I see.

    1) I imagine we all do…and your point is?
    2) Again I imagine we all do.
    3) I answered your question. Responded with another. You couldn’t/wouldn’t answer.

Regarding your final sentence, I’d love you to substantiate that. I’d suggest I’m at least as well read/researched as you despite the high opinion you appear to hold of yourself.

I didn?t offer any opinion on myself, just frustrated that when I make a comment on my view on an issue it?s met met with personal criticism to a reasoned response

By implication you did, but the whole point is, AF…your response in post #3921 wasn’t remotely ‘reasoned’. It was an all too typical attempt at divide and rule based, at best, on deliberate misinterpretation. You were wrong, but I forgot…you never can be can you?

That rather depends upon what you consider a reasoned response! The personal criticism has generally been when either you or GP has made some petty observation to a post of mine, rather than providing an objective response. Why are you surprised when such a response gets a sharp retort?

In any case, your usual modus operandi is to selectively reply and then disappear when that's comprehensively shown to be total *******s! I mean there is only so much tosh obviously regurgitated from dubious sources that one can read before assuming that there the person doing that has a clear lack of cognitive ability.

I have tried to a ask a question in a polite way and received no response, as has RA, equally frustrating.

Now now RA, you know AF, considers himself a person who objectively looks at issues and provides informed, unbiased Comment, despite occasions when the masks slips and he complains about the "number of ethnic minorities in the media" not reflecting HIS world, or that Starmer's misspeak over "An island of strangers" was something that chimed with him (despite the obvious contradiction with his previous comment) Or that some of Trumps bullying is "good" especially on DEI, Government efficiency ( though he then failed to explain what he meant by that).

Apparently now he won't respond because he finds the references to Nazi Germany and other such comments tiresome, which I'm sure they re and precisely what many Germans said when they voted enthusiastically for a certain Her Hitler, with his flag waving, promises to fix a "broken Germany" and targeting of the Jews as the cause of all Germany's ills.

Still nothing to see here in the UK, its not as if flags, removing human rights, the false demonization and targeting of a sector of the population is going on is it. Nor is there any evidence of groups of thugs going around the country either, so nothing to worry about.
