Fair enough Tricky, be interesting to compare those figures with the numbers arriving from those countries. Also before we get too carried away we should maybe consider the apparent contradictions on offer as regards figures surrounding this topic.

In March 2025 the Telegraph claimed that 15% of s*x offences were committed by foreign nationals. (Still leaving 85% committed by home grown offenders.)

By last month the same publication was claiming that 10.6% of s*x offenders were foreign nationals.

In the meantime, Robert Jenrick claimed, earlier this month, that foreign nationals were responsible for 40% of s*x crimes in London. Figures which were sourced from the Centre for Migration Control which is run by Reform UK? s Robert Bates?just sayin?.

In addition the Telegraph recently claimed that one in 12 (!!) of those now living in London are here illegally?a figure which must, imo, be taken with a very large pinch of salt.

So, while not seeking to belittle the issue which you repeatedly seek to raise, I think even you must question the reliability and consistency of certain figures and claims made by those such as the Telegraph, CMC and Mr. Jenrick.

Figures claims will vary from source to source.
But take the crime figures alone, of convicted- population representation. It?s horrific in some cases like Somalians.

I saw an interesting government chart the other day about London boroughs. The average mugging criminal was identified as black. In some boroughs it was 70-80%.

This isn?t coincidence. It?s relative to a massive influx of migration, with very poor integration.

In the same way as Pakistanis feature top of the pile of child grooming. Its culture, that has not changed even when relocating to another country.

It never was going to change at the speed it was forced on the nation.

Really? I believe net (legal) migration into the UK in the year ending Dec.2024 was 431,000. Quite a difference there, but that?s figures for you.

The left clap and cheer at Palestine flags, Pride flags, in fact anything non nationalistic regarding England. Scotland, Wales,N Ireland national pride is fine though. It?s sweet and lovely.

Dont give me any of that division nonsense either. The flags I mentioned upset others in the country, usually by religion. But that gets swept under the carpet.

St George flag is our national flag. Why should the majority of us feel ashamed to fly it?


I want you to ask yourself, why folks have had to resort to this. Why are they slapping flags, painting things nationalistic and organising protests all over the country?

So my BIL has always been prone to racist comments but I do genuinely think that since Brexit he's been more openly racist.

My nieces husband really surprised me with some of his comments at a gathering last year. I was just surprised someone so young held those views.

My parents, I think it's more an age thing. They, especially mum, will lap up and believe everything the media tell them. She told me yesterday that she believes not only do Muslims etc not want to respect 'our' ways but they want 'us' to live like they do.

I do think there current climate enables people more, i dread to think what discussion is held when I'm not there.

I?ll give you one example of them doing exactly that. Look up how many food companies have switched their production lines to HALAL exclusive.

As an advocate against animal cruelty, I find it offensive we are doing exactly that to pacify a religion

I dont know which companies are exclusively halal (that wouldn't have been previously). Have done a Google and can't lay my hands on the information.

I did read that the majority of animals used for halal food are humanely stunned first, but I'm no expert on animal slaughter so would not get into an argument about it.

I would guess the only true way to eat a diet which is cruelty free is go vegetarian or even vegan.

Whats the difference between a halal stunned animal slaughter and a stunned non halal slaughter?

I always thought the idea with halal was by killing the animal non humanely the fear the animal has produces adrenaline which makes the meat taste different, or am I thinking of something else?

Its about Islamic ritual, which is part of what sets off folk like Tricky, because the more Halal meat is pushed at those who aren't bothered, in theory the more butchery becomes the preserve of Muslims or atleast needs Muslims in the process. If you think ANY of this, Halal or otherwise, is pleasant try to find the excellent BBC series 'Kill It Cook It Eat It'. I'm not evangelising for veganism, just suggesting something that might be an eye-opener
