Thought a draw was a fair result 2 poor teams imo. Donny look good defensively but not much else. Probably funniest thing of day is about 15 Donny fans giving big un at train station until Rotherham fans turned up and legged it into bus station bunch of fannies.

Football isn't a difficult game it is made difficult when you have an arrogant man in charge who cannot see his own mistakes. MH is like a Russell Martin all ego and little substance. Not playing Cann in the cup, madness. Not building from a solid back four, we have two decent L1 full backs and we should have recruited a leader at CB to play alongside the kid. 4-2-3-1 until we get some points on the board. Become difficult to play against and beat then bring in the fancy stuff when confidence is high. Awful, leadership across the club and the failure to investigate the many years of excessive injuries is criminal

Did you fall a sleep mate, a draw a fair result, never, Donny should have been 3-0 at half time.
Quicker to & on the ball than the Millers, Donny were up for it.

Entirely accurate. I have disagreed with you before but on this, you are spot on.

Do you believe there is a way back from MH? I don’t. Once a slide like this occurs, it is not arrested by the incumbent. He’s all fluff and nonsense. I also suspect he’s got little or no authority with the players given the lack of concern and fight.

The Rose Hill mob on here is a will no doubt rear their heads soon but this is destroying the club.

Out wide there's nothing we've reverted to cut inside players there know I'm repeating myself but can't anyone else see it? Wing back system it's failed return to a back 4 & play 3 midfielders who have the legs to make it work not Yearwood or Kelly. McGuckin or Holmes wide right. James Clarke get him involved. Don't select a bench that can't change anything when they get on.

I think our width is the least of the problems to be honest. As mentioned above, the fundamental of the defence are not there. You can’t play James and Rafferty at CB. They’re not CBs, never have been. It undermines the entire team but MH simply can’t or won’t see it. Woukd Warne ever have played such a stupid set up - I don’t think so. He kept it simple - played to the strengths of the team.

The way the Millers and ourselves have had successful league one campaigns is to come straight back following relegation from the championship in fairly recent times , the Millers probably more successfully than ourselves .

We've had squads not quite good enough for the championship but good enough the following year with additions to get out of the league .

Once you miss that first season back down in league one opportunity it becomes extremely more difficult .

This is our fourth consecutive league one season and whilst we've made a decent enough start this season I don't believe this squad is anywhere near the quality we had in 2016 and 2019 at league one level and we may not stay the course .

Last season really hurt the Millers with the recruitment and choice of HC not working out .

Hamstring issue for sherif now. We have to be the club with the worst injury record in the country now surely? So do we need another forward before deadline day? Even if we got one would he be knacked in no time anyway? This lot cant be made up can it?

Also look at the porkers, no pre season, a lot of young kids in as well yet they seem to keep fielding a side. I'd sooner us cut back on fitness training and just aim em to get thru 90 mins.

I thought we played okish without really looking like scoring all game. I agree that we can't play the 3 at the back when we don't have 3 fit centre backs so the 4-2-3-1 formation should be a must with the players we currently have fit. Doncaster looked a decent side to me, and with a bit more composure when they attacked, would have probably won more comfortably, plus they also defended really well, and I think that on that showing they could well be around the play off places come may, but it's early doors yet. I would have started with Kelly yesterday, he sits in front of defence and protects us more, which was needed yesterday, and also knits our defence and attacking midfield together nicely. Martha was frustrating to me, getting in good areas but then trying to do too much instead of playing to someone in space. However, I'm not too down about the result. the best team won without a doubt, but I didn't think we played that poorly, and there are things to work on. UTM
