Thread: Political Thread in memory of David Reid. (R.I.P.)

Meanwhile Qatar condemned what it describes as a "blatant violation" of international laws and a "serious threat" to civilians.

"The State of Qatar strongly condemns this attack, and affirms that it will not tolerate this reckless Israeli behaviour and the continuous tampering with the security of the region and any action aimed at its security and sovereignty."

Since October 7th 2023 Israel have attacked SIX other sovereign nations. How much longer will the Saudis tolerate this blatant international criminality?

Attacking a peaceful, neutral country whose only aim is international diplomacy is the work of a criminal enterprise. It's time we sanctioned Israel permanently.

The flotilla was hit again by a drone strike. These are just Captain Hornblower's shots across the bows. Expect a F-17 strike to arrive anytime soon.

The Orange Buffoon is not happy either...“Unilaterally bombing inside Qatar, a Sovereign Nation and close Ally of the United States, that is working very hard and bravely taking risks with us to broker Peace, does not advance Israel or America’s goals,” Trump said.

"all passengers and crew were unharmed and no structural damage had been caused."

Hmmm, TWO drone strikes and no one harmed or damage caused ? You sure these are IDF drones ? They can flatten Gaza but can't harm anyone or cause any damage with two drones ? Something not right here mon ami, you Lefties up to your tricks again ?

Never quite been able to comprehend how Qatar has been allowed to finance, support and accommodate terrorist war criminals.

Never mind the invasion of Israel, the rape, torture and murder, the hostage taking alone is enough to condemn them.

"Article 8 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC) defines hostage-taking as a war crime. Furthermore, in accordance with Articles 7(1) and 7(2)(i), the taking of hostages as part of an armed conflict may also be considered a crime against humanity."

"The UN Commission on Human Rights has stated that hostage-taking, wherever and by whoever committed, is an illegal act aimed at the destruction of human rights."

" Carrying out, or threatening to carry out, an act of hostage-taking is prohibited under international humanitarian law and constitutes a grave breach in international armed conflicts and a war crime in non-international armed conflicts."

That's all clear enough, so can someone explain why Qatar is allowed, even praised, for housing war criminals in luxurious surroundings ?

A bit of paraphrasing and plagiarism from me, but this reckless act of aggression is a blatant violation of Qatar’s sovereignty and a grave breach of international law. The bombing irresponsibly endangered civilian lives, the IDF air strikes at the very heart of a sovereign Arab capital, threatens to inflame an already highly combustible region. It remains to be seen if the flames will also engulf Tel Aviv.

Bombing Doha and targeting Qatar, which is a neutral nation, is central and a crucial component in mediation efforts and allows dialogue in the Middle East; the attack demonstrates Israel’s utter contempt for international law, peace and diplomacy. This assault is criminal, sanctionable, indefensible and intolerable. Israel cannot and must not be allowed to bomb whichever sovereign state that takes its fancy with impunity.

The Israelis are conducting a campaign of ethic cleansing and genocide, their latest excursion has totally condemned to the dustbin any hopes of a ceasefire. Netanyahu has demonstrated time and again his bloodlust. Bombing Doha just confirms it.

What I don't get my head around is a US military expert says: America and European countries have financed enough weapons
to Israel and the weapons transferred are sufficient enough to annihilate an area ten times the size of Gaza.

The IDF with US collaboration have dropped on Gaza the equivalent of six nuclear bombs, enough to incinerate the earth and render it completely uninhabitable.

The skies over Gaza are crowded with spy planes of all types: Israeli, American, British, French, and German, which accurately and professionally capture every movement on the surface of the earth and yet Hamas and the Palestinians still hang on to life.

I beginning to think there is a God after all and he's certainly not Jewish.

Indiscriminately bombing Trump's allies is the road to ruin mein freund. I hope Qatar asks for their plane back.
