I believe, legally speaking, its the fault of the neighbour with the dog.

I think you will find that Clowes Developments are not like some of the larger national firms and I'm sure your aware of the sharp practices that some of the other developers undertake, whether it be sub standard houses with multiple defects and estates with no supporting facilities, to the very real scandal of substandard and dangerous cladding. To be fair I might add that these are things which a good planning system and building control should be on top of, but hey wait a minute, building control in many local authorities has been outsourced to private companies!!

So, Trump has now ensured that a 2nd satirist who joked at his expense has been removed from TV. He's also mentioned 2 more that he wants gone. he's suing newspapers that print uncomplimentary things, even if those articles are true.

I might be wrong but he looks like he's well on the way to proving me right and that the "elite" are taking over in the USA. If that does end up being the outcome, will it cross the Atlantic, like so many things, and end up being the way in the UK and the EU?

    I certainly hope not.

I believe the Donald had been democraticaslly elected twice so far, so does this mean that in your opinion he always makes the right decisions and is good for the wider electorate?

Also if you question the validity of the Donald's election victory (as some have), the same charges have been levelled at Khan too. Both have I believe had allegations of votes for sale and fake ballots in common. Allegations that is...
As I said, GP, I know less about London than you, but it seems unlikely that a majority of Londoners would have voted for Khan on three consecutive occasions if they believed him to be responsible for its ruination.

Your Clowes comment isn’t worthy of a response, but I thank Swale for his sensible and unblinkered clarification.

If you mean Jimmy Kimmel, it wasn’t a joke it was a statement and it was along the same lines as that which I fact checked and found to be inaccurate (with current independent knowledge) the other day. THAT, in the current climate, is irresponsible and Trump should have been open about that being why he wanted him gone rather than blame ratings.

If Trump is going after people for publishing facts of course that is wrong but with the polarised news media in USA he’ll need a big legal team to even sort the truth from the lies

I think Mr Trump should try to be more factual. He has repeatedly claimed he has resolved the conflict between Albania and Azerbaijan. Which of course is news to the two nations.

I thought Kimmel had ‘joked’ that Trump’s mourning of Kirk was like ‘a four year old mourning a goldfish’. Not a great joke imo, but not sure it’s something that can be fact checked.
