His stats last season on chances created and assists show the lad is quality. Yet you focus on his one area he hasn’t excelled his set pieces which I admit are not good enough. However when he gets blamed for a poor corner that was actually taken by another player like some idiot did sat behind me yesterday, what chance does anyone have, he wasn’t even on the pitch at the time!! When he went off yesterday we struggled to get the ball and looked completely disjointed, it removed our engine room from the centre of the park and affected Gore as he had nobody to win the ball for him, MH decisions yesterday were awful, those decisions were not made because of injuries or bad luck, they were made by a bloke that is struggling. Please defend the club potentially letting another asset walk away for free in the summer, remember we were promised it wouldn’t happen again. Outside of the tight finances this club is badly managed at all levels, we have people that are just happy we have a club and that is fine if that is the way someone measures levels of success, but we should be able to compete around the top of L1 with the occasional promotion, that was achieved but we have regressed as a club and that should worry people. Mansfield game will be a very important game, let us hope MH can get the team morale up and get a result because that is how he will be judged.
Derbs we can?t afford a luxury player like Powell just now that goes awol when the pressures on & for every good ball yesterday he followed up with some shockers, we need a grafter, some bite a leader. Take Norwood for them yesterday that?s what we need he was involved in everything. Our midfields fine when we are on top but as soon as the pressure comes we have nobody in control, we loose our shape we are not organised & run about like school kids all chasing the ball.

I agree with what you say here Lol.
Comms made a point how good Powell was playing early on but by heck he needed subbing earlier because of his distribution. They were not just bad passes he made at times they were directed to the most dangerouse part of the pitch and allowed Stockport to attack. He rarely found his man with a pass and his dead ball delivery was shocking.

I am sorry i don't agree at all, and that review by Paul Davis is so bad, how does he keep his job he doesn't even comment on Hugill. Instead of slagging off the players that actually turn up week in and week out and try why don't we focus on the clowns that are supposed to be managing and coaching them. Set pieces can be coached clearly we do not do that, we have one set piece no imagination. Exactly what is Richard Wood bringing to the coaching set up. The manager got it wrong massively yesterday, he continues playing players out of position and leaves the ones he likes but clearly cannot be bothered on the pitch. As said elsewhere the people off the pitch are a waste of space, the chairman is an absent landlord, I won't comment about our COO because I get abuse when I do. What do these people actually bring to this club?
PD comments about players is because they are played in the wrong position not being motivated by the management team (ha!!). Imagine what you would feel like if you ran the distance Powell and others do and you had to play in the same team as Hugill. The old bloke sat next to me moved more in the game yesterday by going to the toilet three times. A suggestion to PD in his interviews with MH why not ask him to explain his substitutions and team selection yesterday, ask him about why the players do not look fit and struggle to play 90 minutes, ask him why when he said his team would play with fight and passion and they don't, ask him why when he said set pieces would be a major focus are we so crap at them.
As i said last week, the best players at this club were here before MH was manager and if he played them in a formation making us hard to break down and focus on trying to get a few points on the board to build some confidence and belief, we might not be in a relegation position. If you listen to ex-players and managers they all say that football is about confidence and those players look like a relegation team, I don't believe that they are buying into the MH way and as each defeat comes, they will turn away from him more and more.

And the club where Powell's stats show he contributes more to the team than any other midfielder at the club, not mine the clubs. If you look at the stat sites his pass accuracy is over 70% and over 80% in some, nobody that is a contracted player at this club has stats like that, his distance covered is also higher than most and last season in the top 6 percentiles of performers in his position in the league. Hey but his corners are crap!! Unbelievable some people.

Yes and despite your stats everybody else can see he is massively underachieving ? Perhaps if you watched the game instead of being on your phone checking out his stats you just might notice this ?
