B T : '' There are people on here who undoubtedly support removing all Palestinians from their historic homeland''

''By more than 1,000 years, ?Israel? predates ?Palestine.? The land then became home primarily to an Arab population, again for more than a millennium.''

The West Bank formed the heart of ancient Israel and was the site of many significant biblical events. Since ancient times, the area has been known as Judea and Samaria and was identified as such through the British Mandate period.

    Historic homeland???

In the Bible, Judea and Samaria refer to the historic heartland of the ancient Israelite kingdoms, where many biblical figures, including Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and David, lived, and where most biblical stories took place. The modern territories of Judea and Samaria correspond to these biblical regions and are considered a ***** part of the Jewish ancestral homeland.

Ancient Roots: The term "Palestine" originates from the Greek "Palaistine," first appearing in the 5th century BCE and referring to the coastal region of what was once Philistia. The Roman Empire renamed the province Judaea to "Syria Palaestina" after the Bar Kokhba Revolt in the 2nd century CE to sever ties with the Jewish population.

B T : Can you point to me any verses that mention Palestine in the Bible??
    In the Bible:
, God appeared to Abraham in Shechem, which today is a predominantly Muslim city called Nablus in Samaria, and declared, ?To your offspring I will give this land.? (Genesis 12:7)also ......The Kingdom of Judah was an Israelite kingdom of the Southern Levant during the Iron Age. Centered in the highlands to the west of the Dead Sea, the kingdom's capital was Jerusalem.

So God said so, seems fair enough to me, who am I to dispute his word. Israel's land it is then.
