Youre hanging your hopes on a Bostock who you saw for 4 minutes when the game was over and everyone was knackered. Im sure even Wallace would look great in those circumstances. I think he is going to be a great player but there are levels to this game and only the manager will know if he is ready and integrate him right.

This idea that young lads are just ready to go and the answer is daft.

I didnt watch all of the match but you cant go to The Den and not match them in terms of effort and physicality, which we didnt. When do we blame the players for their sub standard effort?

I saw all the match and for me the selection was defensive as it was at Boro and wrong. Junior not great but far better than Wallace as at least he can run - he scored a great goal v Leicester and got the great assist to Maja at Norwich.

All this possession based play and 20 passes sideways and backwards is tedious and does not work. We need a creative midfielder with pace who can dictate the game and a rock on the pitch who is a captain. The fact that an ageing player who plays part games is a captain is poor. Makes you cry even louder now when Fellows was sold and we are stuck again with Wallace who didn?t play for a year!

For me - I honestly don?t mind losing if at least we go for it and it?s a good match. Did the 2000 fans today who travelled a six hour round trip and paid a fortune deserve to see this style of play? The answer is in the fact at least half of these supporters left on the third goal.

Early days of course but in life the majority are rarely wrong and there?s frustration out there. My expectation is still top ten but you do expect to see better team selections and performances than our last three away games albeit we got very lucky in one of them.
