Don't think he's a fit at all for Forest.
Lol better do some research. In oz he took south melb his first job from down the bottom to be once again the best club in Oceania. And numerous premiers. He went to Brisbane Roar took them from bottom to 3 premierships in his only 3 years. He got the job in Japan taking the bottom team to premiers in his only season. Won at Celtic everything. Is the only manager that took Australia to there only winning tournament and that includes heaps of European managers that came before him. Spurs first season lost there best player yet they finished the season well with old squad. Next season he lost all his top players for most of the season yet saved them from relegation and won a trophy. His gone to a club on the down and nearly all people are writing him off and laughing before he even has a chance to work out there strengths and weakness which he will do. The group we had last season even your mum would have won the second division which was the worst in memory. So if your comparing this 2 and you come up with that conclusion well I can't say much more.

Not a personal crack on you Oz.

I just happen to think that getting out of the championship is more of an accomplishment than any of what you referenced for AP

Frankly, spuds were poor last year and bad tactics prevailed given the squad he had.

The USMNT looked bad. A lot of talent to choose from.

he?s got a great squad now at forest. I guess we?ll see this season

Ange winning in Europe is huge. Not everyone can handle the pressure of the Glasgow clubs either.

Ange is a very good manager (look at the comments from peers) but was unlucky at spurs and was the wrong appointment and the wrong time for Forest.

The game at the top is made up of fine margins and not all of the variables (injuries being a great example) are within the managers control.

If we hadn’t had devastating injuries in Bielsa’s last season then history may have been very different.

Farke did was he asked to do for us and get us up albeit it took two goes (which meant we lost some very good players) and did it in some style last season. However, for a club constrained by PSR we need to use players coming through and Farke is not the greatest at doing that despite his comments to the contrary. He also falls out with young players with loads of potential which means that doesn’t happen.

His reading of the game is sometimes bewildering and his use of subs we generally all agree about that. It doesn’t make Farke a bad manager (and this season the team have mostly been competitive - Arsenal and Wendies excepted) but he has flaws and thus comparing him favourably to Ange seems a stretch for me.

In an odd position here. The intent wasn't to defend Farke but kind of came off that way. He has done a good job given a squad dealing with onerous PSR rules. His sub patterns and player selection is marginal at best. He also does not develop and integrate the youth which is critical for a team dealing with the limitations of PSR. He has shored up the defense... whether by luck or chance through injuries. I struggle with Bijol sitting but generally agree with his moves to make us a difficult team to score against at this level and not park the bus which he does not.

However, I do think that Farke is a better fit for our current squad than AP.

    Just my 2 cents.

why is it in defense we are losing games if his shored it up Spaldy? Teams know they can go around bogle and straight through Pat. Managers work teams out but ours says out in the open players not playing should be patient as he picks each 11 on opposition but yet plays the say 11 over and over. The left winger only got a game cause of injuries now looks better than the ones he replaced. Bielsa and the Yank were the same and look how they end up. F me give me Sam any day of the week in 4 games he transformed us but was too late. Wish they appointed him when they appointed the Spaniard we would have stayed in the premier league.

Farke works with a team he has and with little hint of a club unsettled. Something AP and Nino are unable to say…You can’t rate him based on us signing say Bogle. In the time/moment hes had with our club Bogle overall is a useful signing… compare our squad of the moment to your ramblings about tosser AP, the mighty Melbourne Roar et al… your seriously rating that lot to Leeds United.. am sure their all world beaters… said no one

I rate them higher than Leeds United as they have achieved something, just like when your superstar, National team struggles to beat part-time team Australia and lose more than they win. I hear Luton has pumped millions into a new Stadium improvement. How's our faithful 20 year in waiting and still continuing Elland road renovations going? When you wake up from your dream, you will realise you are back into reality with Leeds being a minnow team with minnow business owners and Elland Road will still be the same.
PS, you seem not to know what you're talking about, As Melbourne roar is not and its victory where whereas Brisbane Roar is on another planet like you

    ⚖️ Comparison
Farke: Excellent at building teams in the Championship, but his Premier League record is poor (win rate ~12%).

Postecoglou: Proven winner across multiple countries and levels, with a far stronger overall win percentage and trophies in four nations.

Key difference: Farke is seen as a promotion specialist but struggles to sustain top‑flight survival, while Postecoglou is a serial trophy‑winner with a bold tactical identity.
Premier League record at Norwich: 49 games → 6 wins, 8 draws, 35 losses, 31 goals scored, 101 conceded. <br>Struggled badly in the EPL despite Championship dominance. Known for possession‑based football, but often criticised for being too rigid and unable to adapt at the Premier League level.
