I’m baffled why anyone would think Gore shouldn’t start

I'll send you a copy of "101 Baffling Suggestions" by Gwru/Gru/RU66. It puts Ravi Shankar's works to shame

Let?s not get carried away with a win. The next three matches will define our season. If we can take a couple of wins from the home matches then we might be able to start looking upwards.

Spence or Gore starting let's have a vote on here? Only going to be 3 max in central midfield Benson will be one I'd say Powell other.

Gore. Like what I?ve seen of Spence though and with rotation they can play together as they did at Wimbledon. I like Powell shifted to left wing back rather than in the central 3 if we need a goal.

Benson and Gore first names on the team sheet both are class. When fully fit Benson is a top end championship player playing in league 1. I wrote on a substack when we signed him that he will be the best player in this league when fully fit.

Powell has been disappointing this season, for me it's been crying out for him to play on the left where he played yesterday in the second half. I will be happy to see us playing 3421 with Nombe as the 1, Martha and Benson behind him with Hall on the right of Gore and Spence with Powell on the left

Henson thanks for answering the question I was about to ask I’m away so wasn’t sure who’d took the left wing back berth when James went off (hope it’s only a minor injury as James has been consistent though many on here don’t like him) Powell is very underrated and I admit his set pieces are very hit and miss but he is a very intelligent footballer and can do a job at wing back if asked to do so as proved yesterday we were 1 0 down and when he was shifted there we’ve ended up winning the game we are not blessed with left backs we could stick Jules there at a push but we’d be weaker at central defence would imagine Kaleta would be there normally if James is absent I don’t know if Martha was signed as left wing back but from what I’ve seen he benefits us further up the pitch and I mean that in the nicest possible way

We have had 3 decent results, but in two of those games we have differed significantly between the 1st and 2nd half, we are very inconsistent in games and across games. We will always concede goals because MH focus is on forward play and the players we have don't really fit a 3 CBs formation (my opinion). In retrospect I think he is doing ok without a lot of help from those above, we have gambled on a lot of players that are either late in their career or injury prone, this rarely ends well. Benson could be a great signing, but does anyone expect to get him playing more than 33% of the time? Etete will play less minutes than McGuckin. he is likely to get even less support in January where I expect the TS winter sale to weaken the side, our better players moved out and old men and crocks recruited to replace. I do think MH is stubborn, and will stick to his beliefs no matter what the results, but that is his decision and he will live or die by that. I hope he succeeds, I hope we have a top half finish, I hope we do well in the two cups and I hope the people that run the club don't screw him and us over.

Write me on a postcard what Gore gave us yesterday! Spence can do it better + looks a few goals in him.
