Need to get that second goal but at least the intent is still there so far this half. AJ commenting that we are still not moving the ball quickly enough though? Shame about Collyer going off as he sounded like he was much improved this game but hopefully nothing too serious.

Now Price 2-0! Yes!! That should settle his confidence a bit after some recent underwhelming performances. BTW, Mowatt sounds like he is playing well today. Not over yet with 25 to go and a few changes coming from PNE as well as possibly ourselves? Be good to get a third as Heggabo replaces Maja because PNE are certainly not going to stop trying to get something from this.

Poor defending has got PNE back into this and now Mason making changes with Mikey, Price and Junior off to try and shore the defense up and see the game out. Could be a nervy last few mins!

Agree Omeg the intent was there today so happy for that and Mowatt had a decent game. Very true - not moving the ball quick enough as the opposition read our moves and get into shape!

2-1 and a great win that takes us up to 4th! Also proves what we all already know which is that a one goal lead is never enough!

Only able to listen to the game on Albion radio so difficult to judge but, despite some sloppy play, it sounded a much improved performance with far more attacking intent shown. Also sounded like a decent team performance with the likes of Campbell, Mowatt and Styles all playing their part. Id be interested to hear from those who were able to watch the match as to their thoughts

Still far too sloppy for me. Failing with simple balls too often. The two goals were excellent but you could write the script that Preston would get one back then its ar*es to the wall and a holding out job. We won so I suppose I sound churlish but we could have easily thrown this game away yet again. Junior had the perfect and relatively easy chance to make the last few minutes an enjoyable end but inexplicably missed the goal completely with a free header at the back post ensuring the a nervous end to the game

To be fair we played very well in patches, Preston came to play which resulted in an entertaining game, both teams rode their luck at times but our quality shone through, lots of good performances, credit to Campbell for a much improved outing, Johnston?s goal was a beauty, onwards and upwards

Johnson has scored quite a few coming in from the left wing like that. Almost identical to each other.

I agree it was sloppy but I was pleased with the grit to win. If Junior is a Premier player then perhaps at 62 I will get my boots out again. Shame Bostock was not on the bench as I honestly believe if he was given more minutes he would show he?s better than Junior and Wallace.

Good three points though so pleased!

Obviously delighted with 3 points and witnessing 2 cracking goals. Certainly we played with more intent than recent games.
I was disappointed that Mason didn’t react more quickly with subs (maybe simultaneously with the timing of the Preston multi subs)
Campbell needed swapping and both Taylor and Gilchrist on the bench at that time … we were 2-0.
Anyway, great to leave the ground with a smile on our faces
