  1. #1

    Question Alfie where are you?

You have gone mighty quiet writing about or supporting your mates down in the Windsor Great Park Alfie. What's up?

    Interesting article about Nelson.

My great great Grandparents moved from Bradford in the mid 19th century to escape poverty caused by Irish immigration.

At the time the cotton mills in Nelson paid better money than Bradford thus being one of the reasons for moving.
My gran was born in 1900. She had a passionate dislike for the Irish and I thought maybe it was because we are protestants, but it was only recently I realised why because her grandparents were forced out of their home town by them. They would have seen like a loud unruly bunch who liked a drink and the craic, unlike straight laced victorians.

Todays Nelson have been swamped mainly with immigrants from south east Asia but the difference is huge, these people are Muslim who don't mix or breed with the indigenous population. The Irish being Christians quickly integrated within communities and today most families have some Irish in them.

The Asian grooming gangs certainly mix and breed with the UK's indigenous population.

When I was "in between" wives 3 & 4 I was seeing an Italian lass who lived in Duke Bar. After 7.30pm it was not a good idea to go walking down the street with her. It was always taxis and car pick-ups only.

I have never, ever understand how places like Nelson, Oldham and Birmingham have designated "No-Go" areas for white people going about their business. Tough on crime my arse.

Went through last week on the bus on the way to Crosshills to collect my car (insurance job)
The sh!t hole starts off at Colne Road in Burnley and finishes at the bottom of market street in Colne.
I cheered with joy when I crossed the border into North Yorkshire it was like going from hell into paradise

Jail time? "Stephen Lynch, a senior member of the US House Oversight Committee, has said he wants to speak to the King's younger brother "regarding his involvement in all of this." The congressman went on to say that he was "sure" an invitation would be issued to Andrew to speak about his association with Epstein."
