Especially given the card his early substitution a necessity.

Needs to be taken off otherwise he could get another yellow with his reckless tackling.

Absolutely shocking, We're all over the place. Midfield is getting bullied, can't seem to string more than 3 passes together, we?re so one dimensional it?s embarrassing, Mason just hasn?t a clue, can?t blame tiredness, Watford played Sat as well

Was working so missed the game but after the decent home performance on Saturday seems like we reverted to type with a display similar to that shown against Millwall? With the exception of Mikey again and a few others, reports say we were too defensive, too slow in moving the ball and lacking in energy? Yet again, it sounded like the opposition wanted it more than us and it's this attitude that is most galling and unacceptable to fans.

Doubtless some changes were made due to the desire to rotate and rest players but personally I felt Watford was a game we could have got something from so would have continued with the same starting selection (injuries permitting)from the PNE game as this may have better carried over the momentum and subs could have been made later if/ when needed.

I know that so many teams are currently clumped around the same number of points which means that the results from one lot of matches can quite easily see teams either climb or drop a few places but a win last night would have shifted us up the table so also a missed opportunity.

Still, it could be worse I suppose. Could be a Norwich supporter....

Btw, how did Gilchrist do as I see he was subbed on 55 mins with Campbell coming on?

Gilchrist did ok, is clearly quicker than Campbell and survived one clanger thanks to Philips. Went off injured. As with all the defence he maintained the frustrating passing backwards and sideways instructions!

Watford brought on 2 subs at the start of the 2nd half and Mason did not react until too late. Very similar to the Preston game who similarly showed some initiative with a multiple substitution. For some reason Mason is reluctant to make changes (unless forced).

I?m not advocating a Mason dismissal, but I would hope the owners are scouting to see who may be an improvement and replace him in case of need.

    Another frustrating watch.

I looked at the bench when we were 2-1 down and who was there to make a difference? Dike cant run, Maja is an end product man when there was no product. Grant is poor and the rest were kids.

We didnt buy enough attacking players this summer.
Iling-Junior was ok in flashes but largely disappointing. We need a number 10 and a right winger.
