There are moments when I wonder if Elanga was our first choice target for RW

    Wahoooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Now that's not poor.

A last minute goal? Happened against us enough so we were due some luck.

Could so easily have been well clear at half time Nick Nick hitting the post Murphy missing that one on one but it all ended well in the end, nice to see Elanga involved in Bruno's winner too.

We won, didn't control the game as well as we should have.

good to Miley getting more minutes.

    A win's a win, certainly not a classic.

However, I seem to not know what the rules are anymore.

It seems to be ok to wrestle a striker if he's tall and doesn't deserve to be given free kicks or fouls against a defender wrestling him.

The ref basically didn't appear to understand the game of football. Freekicks were given for seemingly nothing yet Joelinton being stamped on several times doesn't deserve a whistle.. doesn't make sense.

When Gordon got the fullback a yellow inside the first 5 mins I was surprise to see that the lads didn't punishing him by isolating him and giving Gordon the ball one-on-one to push for the 2nd red.

That is something as a team that the lads need to take advantage of.

Ref was from LiVARpool and his county FA is scouse. . . sure that had nothing to do with it

In all honesty it wasn't great and could have easily ended a draw.

However, could also be a turning point. Great CL win followed by a gritty prem win.

Not a pretty game but 3 points is 3 points and we were due some late points stealing.
    We deserved it regardless.

This is a feeling I get, myself, more and more in the PL. I find some of the decisions around holding, shirt pulling in the area and handballs as completely baffling these days.

Fulham at home (again!) in the Carabao - noone can complain about that draw.
