Its not the fans that are the problem. Its the managers watching too much tippy tappy shyte on SKY

Fans will put up with anything if the team is winning. Managers sticking to their footballing philosophies regardless of the opposition or how the game is going drives me mental.

We'll have to disagree on that one Mason.

Most fans will put up with what comes our way, it's what we do.

More than a good few are not on this planet with their expectations. This is apparent at most clubs sadly.

We even have quite a few fans, growing in number who are coming the c**t regarding our cup win.

Cup was won fair and square and I don't give a f*ck how much lower league opposition we had on the way to winning it.

That really does my flocking head in.

You read some of the posts online last night, it read like we got beat.

Im still haunted by watching Joe Lewis rolling the ball sideways to a centre half on the 6 yard line, while 1-0 down to Darvel
The players wouldnt want to do it, the fans wouldnt want to watch it but the tadger in the dugout had his footballing philosophy

Thelin is as guilty of it as the rest in recent years. Honestly dont think Aberdeen have set up properly to defend a set piece since Jimmy Calderwood

I thought the Darvel loss would have been excised for you with our cup win.

You were at it though and that ones always hurt more. Not near as bad if watching on the telly or listening on the radio.

Is it our manager or is it our chairman that is trying to instill this philosophy?

Hopefully Jimmy can find a happy medium to keep everyone happyish.

Aye, those zoomers need a boot in the **** - see them all over facebook groups.

I love winning ugly. I have very fond memories of watching the McInnes team which was great at that. Guys like Anderson, Reynolds & Robson were good at seeing games out & you just trusted that they'd impose some control on the game.

We didn't have that at all last night, imo, and that's the difference.

    Im with you on this.

Pep has a feckin lot to answer for.

Its one of the most painful things in sport watching absolute donkeys who are wholly ill equipped technically (yes, I include our lot in this definition) try to play out from the back.

I dont blame the players, its these wannabe Peps that are the problem.

It really is an absolute cringe to watch.

    STOP IT!!!

That Barcelona team ruined football for me. It used to be countries turned up at World Cups with their own unique style, now every team on the planet tries to play the same way. It wouldnt be so bad if it was entertaining football but it was always dull as dishwater even when it was going well.

I enjoy the football more watching Dumbarton. The teams in that league know they cant play that way, so dont even attempt it. Its fun to watch. When was the last time you watched Aberdeen and it was fun?

You have to make your own fun up at the fitba, no point getting overly worked up about it.

I've learned over the years to keep expectations low when going to Pittodrie and rarely get too upset about what I see on the pitch or the scores. Last Sunday being the exception.

In answer to your question about fun.

I would say the hun game last October, when we won 2-1 and McGrath missed the pen.
Just a great night and not just because we beat the hun.

I like watching the lower league games on a Friday night.

I like the old skool feel of it. I wish we had a team close by to watch in the leagues, but would never support Cove.

I don't mind popping down to Arbroath on occasion.

The good thing about the lower leagues, is the regualr 3pm kick offs on a Saturday.

I miss those a lot, especially with European and International fitba interupting the season.

Not the same going to the fitba on a Sunday.

I do seem to remember regularly laughing at your sustained hatred of Iniesta & Xavi, two of the best plaars of all time

Two of the best players at passing the ball 3 yards 500 times a game. You couldve dropped Ryan Jack into that Barca midfield and nobody wouldve noticed
