MillersMad Match Thread...Millers v Swindon Town

I used to go to Danny Williams shop in Rotherham on a Saturday.
Also just below D W. Shop was Midland opticians, I went there when at junior school.
But biggest thing about the Millers v Swindon Town,
was a game I went to.

24th March 2001

Rotherham United 4-3 Swindon Town
Mark Robins scored a hat-trick for the Millers.

Thing about it was, myself, my wife & my son were guests of Swindon Town, to which we were seated in the Directors Box.
Sat next to me was Andy King, the Swindon Town manager.
Every time the Millers scored, me & my wife jumped up.
Andy King went down to the touchline dugout, when the game went against Swindon Town.
Brilliant day for Mark Robins, Us & fellow Millers fans.

anyone recall Swindon player Don Rogers in a game ages ago at Millmoor? Think they won a Cup final that year ?

Some clubs at our level no longer taking this competition seriously - fielding under strength sides. Perhaps no longer ?giant killing? in the traditional sense?
