So, anybody out there that anybody care to suggest to step in?
This is just a merry-go-round every few months. Dismal football it may be but who do you blame? Players or managers?
Players are average at best if they are fit. The manager is young and new to management.
Just who does anybody suggest will make a difference?

a cardboard cut out of a wheelie bin would have more get up and go than Mason, the clueless clown stands there with his hands in his pockets, Gary Megson he is not, Megson is the type of guy we need to get this shower playing it feels like we are back to 1999

I was all for giving him time before this but it was such a mess.

I do think the players are poor, but good managers work on things in training that get embedded on the pitch. Corberan used to press in numbers to try to nick the ball high up the pitch. You could see that the players knew what they were trying to achieve.

It’s hard to see what we are working on. The plan seems to be to give it to Johnston to do some magic. Thats about it. But sides are now putting 2 or more on him and given we arent attacking down the right side, we arent utilising the space, so we just lose the ball.

I want it to work but it’s a horrible mess that resembles Big Dave against Ipswich (his last game) and the latter games under Val. Both managers didnt know how to sort it out and neither does Mason, sadly.

The problem is that game after game we see the same problems but no attempt to improve the situation. We continue to select two defensive midfielders when what is required is creativity. We only appear to present one danger to the opposition and that?s Johnson. Even the back four, who looked solid at the start of the season, are looking vulnerable, especially in the latter stages of today?s game. I know that we kept a clean sheet but a better side would have murdered us.

Up to this point I have not critcised Mason but I am now beginning to question the appointment. Does he not see where the problems lie
and attempt to fix them. As the saying goes, you cannot keep doing the same things and expect a different outcome. I would not get rid yet but more performances like today and action will need to be taken.

Pretty well my take on the situation also Leics buddy.
I thought they looked to have more energy early doors and with a bit of luck could have had a couple of goals. Mikey threatened, but was well marked and seemed to delay the final pass.
Mowatt is sitting now well within the back four and Diakite seemed to settle close by. Albeit the latter looked more threatening, but he is hanging on to the ball too long and suspect to the odd clanger. Price produced another great long range effort, but seemed to disappear.
Junior on the right wing lost the ball too often with some poor first touches.
The back 4 I thought were generally ok, albeit Calum concerns me as FB. I liked Gilchrist and certainly Beliek showed some quality for his short display.
All in all?just not good enough

Didn?t go Prando as was coming back from holiday. Judging by the comments i was the lucky one!

Few comments about Mason below - did you notice this?

Anyone else notice the lack of interest the players had when Mason was briefing on the touch line during Mowetts injury

    Says it all
Only half the team were listening to the manager

    Something is not right there

Mason does not look like he could inspire a dog with a juicy bone so this caught my attention
