    Only in the reserves, Dave Watson played both positions in the first team but not going to but Hugill in Dave Watsons class.

    Yes mate, I saw Gordon Morritt play centre forward for the Millers reserves in the North Regional league.
    He once scored a goal at the railway end at Millmoor, ref & linesman looked for a hole in the side netting, because the ball was in the near corner, Morritt scored from the by line, near the post.

    Ronnie Moore started out as a centre half and the then Tranmere Manager had all forwards missing due to injury so he sent Ronnie up front......the rest they say is history.
