We played like a bag of nuts, to be honest. But that's not really important; the result is far more important.

A win against Davidbrentford and we can build on our league form from there.

Impressed with Burn, Big Joe, Tonali (not his best game but still one of the best players to find alternative solutions when being shut down) and Hall when he came on - the speed in his feet is going to be a very useful weapon. Some incredible fast runs he went on. Carrying with him the ball, unlike Elanga, unfortunately.

Aye, we've missed Hall's driving runs.

    So has Gordon, tbf.

Aye - with Hall back, I think Gordon will improve as well.

Hope so cos he was ineffectual again yesterday. Howe suggested hes been carrying this hip injury for a while, though which might help explain.

Wouldn't be surprised if we didn't see him for a couple of weeks-playing with the injury clearly isn't helping.

Don?t know why they?d play him through an injury when Barnes, Murphy, Elanga and even Willock have all been available.

Gordon also has not had a proper LB behind him all season remember - as much as Tino and Burn have played there - they?re both out of position.

Burn is not a flying full back who can support attacks.

And with Tino on the left, it means we?re playing with two primarily Right footed players looking to use the same space in an attack.

Might see a different Gordon then

Our next to big positions to fill will be a true left back and a midfield enforcer.

We need to sign a proper, talented left-footed full back as backup for Hall.
