As I stated in the Head Coach thread Gnontos injury was being 'managed' along with other players currently. Farke stated as such below.

'We decided after he was out for such a long time it was an option to take him with us for the bench, but regarding the training week we did not want to take the risk. We have two more weeks for him in training now. We thought for this game to bring him in from the bench it's not right to take the risk. He will have a bit of a pre-season with two more weeks, so more or less four weeks of training before a return'.

Suppose for some folks they are now defo in that 'annoying phase of time' where everything DF now utters gets disected into the most negative manner possible & regurgitated to total bollux by the retired pros posing as punters in the know.
