It was posted on a forum in September that Portales was still in Dundee.
A friend who was at the Sponsors Day last April (2025) overheard Shaughnessy telling another sponsor that he had just bought a house in Dundee.
It was Tony Docherty who brought Shaughnessy to Dundee from St Mirren so it is likely that Shaughnessy bought a new house in Dundee assuming that Tony Docherty would be the Dundee FC manager next season.
Tiffony does not appear to be in the starting eleven at Kilmarnock whilst he would have been a likely first team regular this season if Tony Docherty had remained as manager.

On the contrary I know that Nelms is hopeless as Managing Director of Dundee Football Club Limited as I have a copy of the damming auditors report which was published along with the Dundee Football Club Limited annual accounts for the year ending 31st May 2023 on the Club website in error on 8th April 2024.
