    Wales

Although I am English I have followed Wales for a long time, been to the Euros and followed them abroad over the years.
A poor game against Lichtenstein which they only won 1-0 was then followed by last night's game at the Cardiff City
Stadium against North Macedonia.North Macedonia had the same number of points in the Group but had a goal difference
advantage so it was a nervous game. What transpired was astonishing,Harry Wilson scored a hat trick and was brilliant as
were Dan James,Brooks and Johnson. It was like watching Man City, the football was skillful and inventive, chances were
not only creative but were finished off.End result was a remarkable 7-1 win with Craig Bellamy describing as the best
    he had seen.

Last night, I was switching between the Welsh and Scottish games and it made for two hours of brilliant viewing.

Bellamy's stock is rising exponentially, I can see him ending back up managing at Turf Moor.

All importantly their next big game is at home in Cardiff. Great stuff.

Too much hype over Wales and Bellamy. I’m not convinced on either front. Wales played well, scored some good goals, but Macedonia were shocking. You should not concede 7 goals at this level. As for Bellamy and his team, the Welsh media weren’t singing their praises when they were ripped apart at home to Belgium a few weeks ago. Where was this wonderful performance that night? Belgium should have score a few more than the 5 they managed that evening. Too early to make a judgement on Wales, and definitely Bellamy. They’ve got a home semi, now in March, and then see what happens after that. A lot of football to be played before the celebrations begin. A lot.

Never mind malwayne, you could be on a real loser if you support Wales playing rugby union.

Question for our two resident Welshmen, "How's Benny doing at Swansea?"
