As GB mentioned previously it’s yet another example of total lack of communication from the Club about what the actual phuck is happening with players. Turns out that JG has finally let out that Stirton does infact have a foot injury and will be out till at least the end of the month. Why they don’t let us know these things earlier lord only knows, but in the vacuum left behind by a lack of updates that’s where ludicrous rumours can start over the reasons for a player’s unavailability when the answer, if promulgated, is actually very simple.

Jim hoping to have Watters and Graham back for the busy festive period, f*cking Christmas? Wtf is going on? They were meant to be back this month. Some clarity on what's taking so f*cking long wouldn't go amiss
Bounce games to be organised for them to get them back to match fitness. I heard that the academy kids were frustrated in not getting any regular games. Strain & Nammo are just getting minutes here and there. Yet we have the agreement with Airdrie where we can send some players age permitting back and forth to get game time.
FFS how did Dailly, McKinnon, McKinlay, Bollan, Ferguson, Connolly & O'Neil get into the first team and when in, not look out of place? Reserve team football. Stating the bleeding obvious but it worked, none of this age restricted pish or having agreements in place. Reserve games got decent fans turning out to see them at the actual stadium where we play our home games.
I know this is a subject close to your heart and i agree with you 100% regarding the benefits of a proper reserve league. What i don't agree with would be playing the games at Tannadice as the pitch would be ruined by December/January and more 1st team games would be postponed.
You really only need to see footage of us in the 80's to see the state of the pitch when we were playing games in the winter, now back then everybody just accepted it along with the tackle from behind but in this age of player protection and health and safety you just know that ref's are being told to call the game off if they think there are safety concern's.
Does anyone have any updates on the various recovery situations and when we're likely to see players back in the squad?
Watters and Graham mentioned above, supposedly playing bounce games to get some match fitness.
What about Ryan Strain - how is he recovering from his "slight muscle discomfort" (strain in other words)? He was supposed to play against Motherwell, but the afore mentioned "muscle discomfort" kept him out of that but he was expected to be in the squad for Tynecastle. He wasn't.
Any word on how Craig Sibbald is getting on?
Also, Zak Sapsford looked like he hurt himself as scored his second disallowed goal against Hearts - was that just a momentary thing?
