My opinion is no extra funds will be made available to bring in a uncontracted player. In January it will be sell first, with some key players leaving and at least one surprise, we won’t do much business until the end of the window and it will be bargain basement. MH loves the club and being the manager and he won’t say a word to rock the boat, he will put up with it. He will have already have been told priority is staying up and it will be a great season if we you improve on last year Matt. We are in a stage where the Stewart’s and slowly backing away. This is pure speculation on my part and just my gut feeling.

I partly agree with this, I think we will be looking to offload both loan strikers but I also believe any strikers with no club will probably be trying to pull our pants down knowing we have nobody fit.

So right Ross. I read today that we put a "return" clause in the loan players contracts, nice to know we're learning from fingers burnt in the past.
I just hope we can keep Gore after Jan, i would pay him lots to sign in the summer..........utm

Wednesday have two players trialing at the minute, one of em is whatmore, I doubt they will offer more wages than us with their financial situation so it's dependent on which club he prefers and probably would prefer the challenge of the champ over league 1.

Championship over League 1 may well be an incentive to showcase himself but, does he also want a relegation on his CV? Game after game being beaten or join a team that's just missing those players back that would make them a stronger force making his football more enjoyable?
