Noah's Ark Match Thread

As the Don's participate in the UEFA Conference league again tonight, this time at home to Noah's ark from Armenia I just thought I would post up a match thread to see if there is anyone left in here or has everyone went two by two over to donstalk and deserted a sinking ship.

Let's see who is still here.

Have no idea why as we were NOT great at the weekend but got the points on the board, I fancy us to register our first three points in the conference league tonight.

Up at half time with a striker actually scoring. It honestly looked destined for a nil nil as we have the cutting edge of a spoon. It will be interesting in the second half when they have to change their tactics. Fingers crossed we can see it out.

I thought we would go on and win comfortably after Nisbet scored in the first half but that was a terrible performance in the second half.

Milanovic needs to be sent back to Australia asap.

Im not sure what everyone was getting so excited about with Karlsson, he has been a disappointment so far.

Someone needs to tell Lazetic that he can actually try to jump to win a header when the ball comes in his direction, he seems more interested in wrestling with the defenders than winning the ball.

I cant actually think of any of our summer signings that have been good, maybe the 3 players we spent over a million on are decent but we will never know unless Thelin gives them a chance.

Poor recruitment yet again this summer.

Karlsson is a selfish little tw@t and will never be a team player, please just cut his loan short and send him back.
Agree 100% on the comment about Lazetic, somebody needs to have a word with him.

No big secret I am a fan of Nisbet I like that lad we just need to try and play a formation and tactical approach what sees him perform to his strengths but sadly our useless chunt of a manger seems to be too fkn stubborn to admit that he needs to change his approach

If you gave me the option between Shady Mo and Karlsson I would pick Shady Mo every week.

I was never a huge fan of Pape Gueye but he was more of a goal threat than Lazetic has been so far.

Maybe Thelin should try playing Nisbet and Lazetic together to see how they get on. Also just tell the wingers and fullbacks to get to the byline and cross the ball in instead of this inverted winger pish that is dreadful to watch.

We have Livingston St Mirren and Dundee in the next week and we should really be taking 9 points from those games but probably wont.

If we dont get a minimum of 7 points from the next 3 games I will be disappointed.

Nisbet and Lazetic could work together ? Heck, Sokler would too , bring him mome !!

It`s our midfield that needs sorting though isn`t it ? That and getting some width back into the play.

Jensen just stops and turns back when trying to press forward and an opponent blocks his way. Lobban is much better, but obviously needs more experience against thosewily foreign defenders !!

How about a 3-5-2 then ? Play 3 in midfield with orders to get it passed up the field pronto. Two WIDE wingers to hit the bylines. And damn, we need big Pape back as an ariel threat ?!!


Thing is. This 3 year plan thing. Wie have some real quality players here already. But no team or game plan.

Look at what the new Motherwell manager has achieved after only starting this preseason ? Why can`t we reach those levels ??

So it`ll be even more new players in January then......? COYR !!!
