Aren't there rules around that though for players of his age? I know he's out of contract but I'm sure there would be a compensation fee given that he's come through their academy.

I'd have to check but I'm sure if Man Utd offer him a new deal which matches his current one, we'd have to pay a fee.

I wouldn't rule out Dan Gore staying with us.A lot said we wouldn't get Dan Barlaser.Never say never.

I've read a few times on this board about Martha being a quick tricky player who could be sold in January/future for good money. I'm not seeing anything from him that would suggest he's good enough to sell. What I should say he's not showing anything in league one to suggest he's worth money. Maybe the slower pace of the championship would suit his style more.
Imo he's been a 5/10 most games.

Really you watch football and don’t get that players play in certain positions and although they can adapt to a secondary or tertiary position they are less likely to be as good in those positions? You think a player can play the same is any position because he is a footballer?

It depends how highly they rate him. If Man Utd offer him a new contract for next season, because of his age, he'll form part of their 25 man squad. Is he good enough for that? I don't know. But right now, he doesn't form part of that because he's classed as an U21 player (so not part of the 25)

Apologies, this isn't right. He can be contracted to the club and not necessarily named in the 25 man squad.

I think Martha has the potential to become a very good player.
He could do with working on bulking on a wee bit.
I think Hammy is a very good man manager and coach and could get the best out of him.
Similar to how Chieo developed and played his best football under Warne.
My Sheffield United work colleagues don?t rate Chieo in the slightest.

How do you think we can keep Gore he?s not our player, if he comes up for sale we can?t afford his full wages. I hope Matts got something up his sleeve when he does go because he will leave a big hole in our M/F.

Obviously if Man United want him to play elsewhere in January, then we can't stop them,but he crucial to us at the minute, along with the others mentioned.
Not often you say that about a young loan player.
