In the wake of the George Floyd stuff (however nasty an individual he could be, his death further highlighted the systemic racism in too much of US policing) the BLM and MeToo movements it might be nice to think that we in the UK had moved on from the overt racism, ***ism and homophobia of the 70s and 80s but sadly such elements are clearly still with us. I don't think it will change unless more people stand up and challenge such views but in this current era of populism when so many buy into the views of people like Nige or else internet influencers like Tate, it may be a harder job convincing them.😞
We have gone backwards culturally in the last 5 years and lost tens of years of progress. The open racism is worse than I have ever seen.

The only good thing is, the pattern you see emerging is that the racist seem to be thickos that are middle aged or older. I think the younger generations are much more switched on about being fair.
