Standout performances from Baptiste and Kaleta, plus Gore for his first half efforts.

One comment on Dawson (I'm not a fan). The Blackpool centre half won virtually every high ball cleanly and was rarely challenged in the air. We were far superior in midfield so the logical way of pushing forward would have been short throws from the keeper, through midfield. Why oh why did he insist on continuing to pump the ball long?! I just don't get it.

Nombe's return can't come quick enough - his mobility and eye for goal gives us so much more threat.
Totally agree with you about his distribution and big boot, but it is very likely he is doing what he is told because if he is told otherwise and he repeatedly ignores it he would be dropped. So the question should be directed at MH why when we play a team with two huge CBs and a Cf who struggles to jump for a ball do you tell the keeper to kick it long, and if you don?t why do you tolerate your players ignoring your instructions.

.....he's told to keep the ball out of the net but ignores that as well................

By the way, I've always said the same, just can't see the logic behind it, even if MH tells him to..........

The team is a mirror image of the manager. It has potential but lacks consistency and will probably just fall short. The chairman is ok with this as itÂ’s all about trying to balance the books. The supporters are a bi product of all of this.
    Stagnant and uninspiring.
