I Cannae stand this "saved the club"," deserve better", " incredible we have a support" " whose had it as hard as us" self wallowing misery.

As a support I think Dundee fans give pretty poor backing, most that go either sit chatting ( at Dens) or vent fury about everything.

I've been to a lot of what I'd consider smaller clubs in Scotland who have had pretty much hee haw to shout about in years gone by whose support is much more vociferous......Morton, Pars, Motherwell, Falkirk, Airdrie, County to name a few.

We aren't a fantastic support either in numbers or support......now and again if the scores right against a bigger club the crowd get behind the team, generally last 10 mins.

Compared to the support the team got in the 80s and Deefiant time it's pretty **** now.
The current team reminds me of the time when Neil McCann was the Dundee FC manager and his team played boring, defensive, negative football. At times Dens Park was like a morgue as there was nothing to shout about thanks to Neil McCann’s defensive tactics on the pitch.
