Fact is that yet again the money has gone on holiday, forget any chance of staff changes, plans for anything to change other than perhaps Nombe to be sold to balance up the books somewhat. His response to scoring and little involvement with anyone else tells its own story. That was all about effort and brilliant skill to say come and get me. And I do not blame him. He came here to better himself, showcase and move on. And why not.
We were daft enough to overspend, but we will get 750k back. Lessons will be learned not, yet again.
Maybe with a few bob from the sale we will pick up a couple of loans with his wages.
We may be lucky and Hugbill agree a handshake with a couple of k Nombe money and allows another couple of loans till end of season.

From the owners point of view, why should he spend? We are not going to challenge. Why, because that is not in the plan. Spend as little as possible till all the big wage contracts are gone. We couldn?t do otherwise. If we did we would surly would go up in this dross of a league, then end up with TS having to spend even more money just to stay there - which he has never had any intention of doing until he wasted a lot via Taylor.

So, we have a horror show of a season, which has backfired somewhat because the mid table desire has fallen foul of the summer in coming and has beens, sick bays added to what we already had, then the bit of younger ones brought in have given up because it is too much hard work for them.

In decades it is hard to remember a squad with less hard working members, it has been bad enough in last few seasons with sick bays,
But the likes of Kelly, Hugebill, Martha, Hall, Katala, Holmes, Rafferty playing like they would sooner be home watching a sky game while we sat watching a dreadful first half, then no wonder people were walking out.

The change of players made a big improvement, but when you are 3 down, even that and different tactics wasn?t going to get very far.

Anyone disagree with any of all that?
