I've just watched it… first impression - never a red card, just clipped the guy's heels. Seeing the replay from a different angle - definite red card. Quite nasty cynical foul, concerted effort to stamp on his Achilles tendon.

You might want to get confirmation of that from someone in the know - I'm never sure how it works with suspensions for red cards, bookings, appeals, etc.

It’s a straight red for violent conduct - automatic 2 game ban. Was confirmed on the Twa Teams Podcast today.
