The do not want change, especially not an "outsider".

They are conditioned to look upon CAFC as a small club with a small budget. As long as our manager is "one of ours", and the Academy continues at the same level. As long as we do not get relegated they accept that basically we should not be upset if we are not winning games. In fact they genuinely believe that they are unique supporters who are loyal to their team.

That the 3 afore mentioned management team are still in place afte such a ho0rrendous 2025 seems to suggest that the Chairman and Directors agree with their supporters views.
Always nice to be thought of as a good example.

It is true, I am not in favour of frequent changes of managers, mainly because it is a costly process. That said, I do think Lee Bell needs to turn the current form round quickly. The problem is bringing someone from outside the club brings its own problems. Outsider doesn't automatically equate to success and I genuinely think good managers prepared to come here for what we can afford, both in terms of salaries but also in terms of budget to finance bringing players in. And as out friends down the road are finding out, it can be a costly business rectifying mistakes. I have seen comments criticising the chairman, the board, the managers and some criticising the players. We should remember that Lee Bell is responsible for the team selection and whilst not necessarily what people want to hear, his hand is somewhat restricted at the moment. I am not one who thinks we should be given the "ins and outs" of players injuries/health conditions but the mystery around Mickey D's absence is intriguing and the same can be suggested about Lankester. Why we get so many injuries is a concern and maybe just down to bad luck but I do think that the club need to look into this. Of course, they may be doing that.

It would be somewhat ironic if we have a second half of the season mirroring the first halves of the previous two seasons and get into the playoffs on the back of a good run!
