    Time for change

Of the three season's in control this is the lowest we've been at this point despite having more talented players in a weaker league.
Why is it that when a team is either on a terrible run or bottom of the league they can always rely on the Alex to lay down and hand them the game?
The tactics are at times unbelievable and having half the team injured happens too often to be down to purely bad luck.
I actually agree with quite a bit that MikeSB says in that there seems to be too many coaches, what are they all doing?
Finn Roberts came with a reputation as a promising talent which I can only assume has been 'coached' out of him.

I think the Alex are on a slippery slope to the National League, but we need an experienced manager. The problem is of course that will cost money.

    Thanks for the support CB...

Fans think I am nuts with my views and maybe sometimes they are. I can only go on my own experience watching professional football from the PL eg Spurs then Div 1 and not one single professional player had any coaching because they had natural ability that separated them from Div1 to the bottom leagues. Thing is they knew how to play the game. like millions of amateurs do the whole time. Babies can play football etc.

I agree wholly in players being 'outcoached' because they are employed by the club to do something and so they shout and issue instructions to the players whether they like it or not. I had a friend who's 17 year youth played in the academy set up and he was an excellent player but he wanted to get the ball and move towards goal asap and passing the ball was not in his vision and he used to score goals doing what he did by he was *******ed by the coaches for not passing the ball when he was told. He then left the club and stopped playing football. I played right half in local amateur football to a good standard in my managers view and I knew exactly how to play in that position without any coaching and scored three goals in the first half in one match as that is what we all did, ie go for goals as there is nothing more boring than a goal less draw or losing 1-0 etc..

We have our teams passing the ball 400/500 times in a single match with no direct shots or one direct shot on goal. LB said last night they no shots on goal were created in the second half and he said the ball was being played from centre half to the centre half on the other side and he is supposed to be the HEAD coach and he does not know how his team is playing. I presume he doesn't actually coach the team and leaves that to all the other dozen coaches in the club.

I feel sorry for LB as he cannot understand why his team can play what he called last night as 'unacceptable' football and he would refund all the away fans with their ticket money if he could.

It could be the players are reacting to being 'overcoached' and playing silly buggers on the park as a demonstration. He said he wants Mickey D back for his leadership but did not expand on what is wrong with him and why he is not playing. All we read was he injured a cheek bone weeks and weeks ago and never has played since.

LB would be better possibly telling the chairman to get rid of the Cat2 academy and sack all the coaches and maybe have a cat4 one that concentrates on the 17 year old plus age groupl but then we still would have coaches at that level and why I think we could or should go back to the days when players were chosen to play for the team on the skills they have and nothing to do with coaching. The FA have ruined this game with the academy rules and all the stuff they come out with and probably they too are just a bunch of amateurs who know nothing about this game in reality.

I hope we can pull things round but it seems the players have some sort of conflict where they can destroy teams like Tranmere and then last night lose to a team that has not won a match since last March...

I wonder if the Chairman has a solution but he too is on some sort of FA committee..I think he will just leave things as they are. The management team should have been sacked this morning after last night.
