Think some people will still be making excuses for Hamshaw when relegation is confirmed. Feel sorry for for him because he knows he’s not up to it but most of this gutless lot are his signings and for whatever reason they’ve stopped playing for him. Wouldn’t want to bein the trenches with any of them.

I've pinned my flag to the Rotherham United mast.
Shame you can't do the same thing but crack on with your fun.

Haha - let me help you. I said MH flag.

Whilst you sit at home and make your usual smart arsed commentary on here. I travel pretty much to all the Rotherham matches - home and away. So don?t try and make out you?re a better fan that me. The difference is, I won?t accept mismanagement just because our current manager comes from Rawmish.

This board is like the club infighting some truths some lies some exaggeration.
From someone who knows how to lose it. My advice calm down and take a breath it?s probably going to get worse before it gets better.

NWC, what do you mean by 'all out tonight aren't they?' Here's me thinking I'm having an adult conversation with someone and your retort is this......jeez. I'll leave you to the others who seem to have got under your skin.

Turns out he was absolutely pants and not a dot on what he showed on his first game for us. There is a player in there somewhere but he chose not to deliver the second time around.

It was a decision that had to be made for the good of the club. If the current rumour doing the rounds is true, then good if Holmes has done one and gone back to Luton, who they don't even want at their club. Hamshaw called it, saw it, and got it bang on for me.

Do you think he was on peanuts when he signed for us? For me, that's good money saved for another player in the January window.

You should be feeling down too about the situation at the club but you are clearly loving it because it's more important for you to be right with your views about the manager. Sad really.

Bit angry tonight are you? Perhaps lay off the booze for a while. You clearly have some issues to resolve.

Brin - as a moderator on this site, I would expect something more measured as a reply. Please check the thread above and see if I have called anyone a prick? You?ll see I haven?t. Perhaps then, you should spend your time trying to police that sort of behaviour. Or is Mr Angry one of your pals?

Wow, they're some upset people on here tonight. Yes, it is poor at the NYS. MH has had the most injuries to cope with in many seasons.
Yes he makes some strange decisions, and stays rigid to 3-5-2. We don't have many options now days.

If he's told which players who can go in Jan, then i'm afraid you get performances like what was on show this afternoon.
We are still paying good money to SE's signings, and Hugill of course. Probably lots was spent last season because SE told TS that he'd get him promoting. Now MH has had a pittance compared to SE.
If we survive this season, one thing for sure, we'll definately see a different squad for sure.

Yak, I have to say having heard his post match comments, he's not done himself any favours tonight. A couple of quotes from him.....

Regarding players looking elsewhere......''I think there's players who are probably looking at different opportunities and we are reliant on some of these at this moment in time and that's difficult but, you should be professional, should remain professional''

Should be professional, should remain professional'', is he actually saying some players are swinging the lead/feigning injury just waiting for a new move? Who are these players who are currently not playing he's referring to? Name them if they don't want to play for us or get rid of them. If what he said is true it's totally unacceptable for any player to act in this manner.

Second quote - '' We're trying to move forward, we're trying to stay together but it's really hard for me to come out here and say to you, things are great in the garden and we'll get better or, we've got him back, him back, him back, they're not back soon, so it's down to a group in there to stand up, puff up their chests out. That's the thing they're supposed to do the most at but I don't think they're in there''

That's a damning statement for all involved. Sounds like he's lost respect of some of the players or it's another Steve Evans stand off to see who goes first, them or him. What a sad sorry state of affairs.

Thinking back to when he arrived, he was fresh, had great ideas first being to reduce the age of the squad etc. Look abroad for new signings etc. A new approach to a 3 man defence which, when it comes off is great but the calibre of players we currently have including blooding Douglas, clearly hasn't and isn't working. His stubbornness to continue with this approach I feel will be his downfall as we are so weak at the back.

Lost dressing room or, some players need removing if they're not willing to commit to what is essentially a crisis?

I really want it to work for Hamshaw but he's got to stand back and take advice on his mistakes also. Who in his backroom staff dare tell him? Maybe it will be decided for him after the Mansfield game, I hope not and he's allowed the January window to get something sorted.

    UTM!
