From a mini run now to mini losses Didn't enjoy yesterday's game at all.

Seeing how I've a lot to prep and post, let's take a look at the results and how it affects the table.

    No Shows: Just Pocket again?

Weekly winner(s): This was a good battle from many making it an interesting mark up. Several of you hit double figures starting with Grist, LeedsMiller and YAK all scoring 10 points. Next up was ELK with what I thought might be the winning score on 11 points.

Alas it was not to be as both GlennMiller and Millersrus delivered a very good 12 points each to claim the bonus points, very well done chaps.

Predict a score: This was a shocker as Exeter beat Barnsley 3-0 making it no winners and a new rollover for boxing Day.

Joker(s) played: Just the one from Ronners who doubled his score up to a credible 16 points giving him a lift up the table.

Wooden Spoon(s): It had to happen sooner or later. There wasn't many low scores this time around so Cayton, Merry Xmas pal the spoon is all yours with your score of 3 points. He can't complain as he has been doing very well of late.

Cayton will go into Xmas day as the leader of the pack but, will he still be top before the year ends? A cracking season so far for him but the rest are well on his heels now. Glenn Miller with his weekly win closes right up on him with the rest giving chase.

There's now only 1 Joker left to be played by YAK. You have two sets of fixtures to choose from Pal.

    The Table:

    (J) Cayton =157+8=165+9=174+9=183+3=186
    (J) GlennMiller =156+5=161+4=165+17=182
    (J) Pipppy =145+16=161+3=164+7=171+8=179

    YAK =112+5=117+4=121+17=138+10=148
    (J) MillersTale =128+3=131+7=138+9=147
    (J) a123 =128+4=132+4=136+3=139+7=146

Plenty on so let's get straight in to it all.

No Shows: Just Pocket and it looks like he's not bothering anymore this season so I'll remove his score.

Weekly winner(s): Only 15 points to grab at but amazingly there were x 6 winners! All scored 8 normal points so take an extra 5 and they were: Ackworth, ELK, GlennMiller, Lol Morgan, Ronners and Mr Buckaroo. Well done all of you.

Predict a score: It was a rollover and only one person got the scoreline of Chesterfield 2 v 0 Notts County so the 10 points go to Bramley Miller, well done Sir.

Joker(s) played: The final one of this year was played by YAK and he doubled his score up to 8 points. You can all start using your second one on or after Jan 1st 2026.

Wooden Spoon(s): Some very low scores indeed and this time it goes to Millersrus for his score of 2 points. Hard luck there but it's all yours pal.

We have a new leader as GlennMiller with his weekly win, topples Cayton who has had a great run as we near the end of another year.

Still three set of fixtures to play in close proximity as we tumble into a new year so anything can happen.

    The Table:

    (J) GlennMiller =161+4=165+17=182+13=195
    (J) Cayton =165+9=174+9=183+3=186+6=192
    (J) Pipppy =161+3=164+7=171+8=179+5=184
    (J) Brin =159+4=163+5=168+8=176+5=181
    (J) HK Miller =132+32=164+6=170+4=174
    (J) Millersrus =142+8=150+17=167+2=169
    (J) Nardendee =146+7=153+9=162+7=169
    (J) LeedsMiller =148+4=152+10=162+3=165
    (J) Mr_Buckaroo =143+1=144+6=150+13=163
    (J) Ronners =125+4=129+16=145+13=158
    (J) Bramley Miller =131+5=136+7=141+16=157
    (J) YAK =117+4=121+17=138+10=148+8=156
    (J) CT Milller =135+10=145+5=150+5=155
    (J) MillersTale =131+7=138+9=147+7=154

And so our League misery continues

Anyway onto the PL from yesterday, the last league results for 2025. Let's see who scored what.

No Shows: A full card, well done one and all. I see the festive period isn't affecting you all from predicting Hic*!

Weekly winner(s): Only one score draw so many of us were caught out by this. Some close calls from CT Milller, YAK and Lol Morgan scoring 9 points but, it wasn't enough to beat both LeedsMiller and Mr Buckaroo who delivered double digits on 10 points each. Well done, you bag the 5 bonus points which moved you both up the table to a loftier position. NB. That's back to back wins for Mr Buckaroo, is he making his run from inside the rails already?

Predict a score: Final score was Bradford 1 v 0 Port Vale so no winners. A rollover it is then into next year.

    Joker(s) played: None played.

Wooden Spoon(s): Fives and fours in abundance with it being so poor on the draws but, there was a score of three points and that was from Ronners. The last spoon of the year pal, take it away it's all yours.

GlennMiller recently took over the throne from Cayton and with his score of eight points from yesterday, means he's still on top. This also makes him the first of us to break the 200 points barrier so very well done indeed. I'm confident Cayton will join him next week with others following suit not long after.

    The Table:

    (J) GlennMiller =165+17=182+13=195+8=203
    (J) Cayton =174+9=183+3=186+6=192+6=198
    (J) Pipppy =164+7=171+8=179+5=184+7=191
    (J) Brin =163+5=168+8=176+5=181+6=187
    (J) HK Miller =164+6=170+4=174+8=182
    (J) LeedsMiller =152+10=162+3=165+15=180
    (J) Mr_Buckaroo =150+13=163+15=178
    (J) Millersrus =150+17=167+2=169+6=175
    (J) Nardendee =153+9=162+7=169+6=175
    (J) YAK =121+17=138+10=148+8=156+9=165
    (J) CT Milller =135+10=145+5=150+5=155+9=164
    (J) Lol Morgan =132+8=140+13=153+9=162
    (J) Bramley Miller =136+7=141+16=157+4=161
    (J) MillersTale =138+9=147+7=154+7=161
    (J) Ronners =129+16=145+13=158+3=161
    (J) a123 =136+3=139+7=146+7=153+5=158
    (J) ELK =121+3=124+11=135+13=148+5=153
    (J) Ackworth =119+0=119+1=126+13=139+4=143
    (J) CAMiller =115+10=125+8=133+5=138+5=143
    (J) Grist to the Mill =122+10=132+3=135+5=140

D-ream once sang. 'Things can only get better' can they, will they? Or, in the words of The Style Council, will 'the walls come tumbling down'?

Let's take a look at all that ensued with yesterdays results......

No Shows: A full card, well done everyone. One set left to complete and I appreciate you all continuing to have posted through what has been a hectic two weeks.

Weekly winner(s): Very interesting as there were a big 24 points up for grabs, consisting of x6 score draws, x2 away wins and x2 home wins. kicking it all off with double figures of 10 points were CT Milller, ELK, Glenn Miller, Ronners, Avondale and myself.

Next up on 11 points was Leeds Miller, followed by HK Miller and Millersrus on 12 points. The big one though came from MillersTale with a whopping 15 points so he claims the bonus 5 points, very well done indeed.

Predict a score: This was a rollover and the final score was Bromley 2 v 1 Newport and there were two winners. Well done to both Grist and Ronners, you both bag 6 points.

    Joker(s) played: None played.

Wooden Spoon(s): There were many high scores but there is always a low scorer. To enter in a New Year, Ackworth, Lol Morgan and Mr Buckaroo all scored 4 points. They were though saved by the bell as a123 only scored 3 points. All yours Sir and I do belive that's your first one, commiserations.

GlennMiller starts off in the New Year as top dog but look at that chasing pack now, it's really bunched up and tightly packed.

A shout out to Cayton as he now breaks the 200 points barrier, well done.

    The Table:

    (J) GlennMiller =182+13=195+8=203+10=213
    (J) Cayton =183+3=186+6=192+6=198+5=203
    (J) Pipppy =171+8=179+5=184+7=191+7=198
    (J) Brin =168+8=176+5=181+6=187+10-197
    (J) HK Miller =170+4=174+8=182+12=194
    (J) LeedsMiller =162+3=165+15=180+11=191
    (J) Millersrus =167+2=169+6=175+12=187
    (J) Mr_Buckaroo =163=163+15=178+4=182
    (J) Nardendee =162+7=169+6=175+7=182

    (J) Ronners =145+13=158+3=161+16=177
    (J) CT Milller =150+5=155+9=164+1-=174
    (J) YAK =138+10=148+8=156+9=165+6=171

Starting 2026 like I left off in 2025 although did manage to nibble 2pts off Cayton's lead over me

PS Thought the predict a score rollover should be 6pts Brin with 2 winners?

Brin not like you to get the maths wrong. As we can only predict 5 not 6 draws the maximum cannot be 24pts
