No appointment yet suggests Patel is haggling over the wage. Once huge wage earners like Dike and Wallace are off the books then thank the lord. I would also take any reasonable offers for Maja and Grant in this window.

Let?s just hope Morrison starts with a strong team tomorrow but balanced with great youngsters like Whitwell and Bostock not garbage like Junior FFS
What lessons do you think they should have learnt? They tried one of the most experienced championship managers around and it was a disaster.

Plenty of managers are doing well without championship experience. The Hull boss is doing a fine job. The Bristol City manager has only 6 months under his belt. Sunderlands gaffer is fantastic. Middlesbrough are competitive with a bloke from Sweden.

If you restrict yourself to championship, there arent many options. Particularly given we are 18th in the league with financial issues.

This summer, the rumours were that Ramsey was the target and he didnt want to join mid season for MLS. He was an exciting prospect in a growing league.

I have a hunch this will be a great appointment if we get it over the line. But we will never truly know. Neither will Nestor, you or I. Coventry didnt fully know that Lampard was a good appointment following his failure at Everton. I imagine Hull fans were incredibly concerned. Youve just got to go with the best fit and hope it works.
