Noisy neighbours silenced: All quiet on the Western Front: Own goal festival: County fail to tie Crawley in Notts
Dek (OOOO), Totty (xOOE) and Ozleeds (xEOO) scored 12 points out of the available twenty-four. If you look closely, somehow Dek thought the Red half would prevail over the blue half in the Manc derby. No-one else even vaguely thought that was a possibility so, whilst Ozleeds gets a deserved "Opa!" and Totty gets whatever the equivalent is en Fran?ais, Dek really must get the top tipster of the weekend award. Bravo! I think?![]()
Chezzer (xxOE), Lufcjohn88 (xxOE), Orgoner (xEOx) and Ozwhites (xxOE) scored nine points. All used just two of the four games. Maybe try harder next time, eh?
Pacaman is now 9 points ahead of Orgoner. Third placed Ozleeds is slowly (but surely) catching both of them up.
Alf, Hopey and MORRIM missed out on the fun. Perhaps they couldn't stomach predicting a Man United win?
There was one draw, so Johnny_Default finally limps up to 48. Any Strike One (Alf and MORRIM), Strike Two (Hopey) or Strike Three posters would've scored three, two or one for their total lack of effort.
The average active weekly score was 7.6.
The results
(P) Reds v Pale Blues (2-0)
(C) Oxford Union v Brizzle Cities (0-0)
(L1) Stockport County v Rotherham United (3-2) or (1-2 in Own Goals!)
(L2) Crawley Town v Notts County (1-2)
The next fixtures are out as a separate thread.
All the best. Stay safe!
