PS - if he does take Greenland by force, I expect EU and NATO countries to dump their US Treasury Bonds and that will cripple the US financially. I don't think it will become all out war because European countries don't, IMO, have the balls and that might not be a bad thing. Fanta face has his finger on the nuclear button. Anything is possible when he throws a tantrum. Great Britain nd France both have a nuclear arsenal as well. I hope this balance prevents either side from pushing the button.

In other news, the DOJ is after yet another Congress member who reminded service personnel that the Constitution instructs them to refuse illegal orders. DJT seems to be passing the dictator stage and going full on tyrant.

Here's the letter... it was to Norway's Prime Minister it seems...

“Dear Jonas: Considering your Country decided not to give me the Nobel Peace Prize for having stopped 8 Wars PLUS, I no longer feel an obligation to think purely of Peace, although it will always be predominant, but can now think about what is good and proper for the United States of America. Denmark cannot protect that land from Russia or China, and why do they have a “right of ownership” anyway? There are no written documents, it’s only that a boat landed there hundreds of years ago, but we had boats landing there, also.
I have done more for NATO than any other person since its founding, and now, NATO should do something for the United States. The World is not secure unless we have Complete and Total Control of Greenland. Thank you! President DJT”

Has he completely lost his mind?

For the non FB'ers on here, here's the latest from that guy guy who "siimply loves Australia"

Alright, let?s call this what it is, perfectly timed economic judo, and Trump just ran face-first into the mat.
While Trump?s over there banging his favourite broken toy, tariffs, again, like a toddler smashing a plastic hammer on the coffee table, the EU quietly did something grown-ups do. They signed a massive free trade deal with Mercosur that?s been twenty-plus years in the making. Twenty years. That?s patience. That?s planning. That?s not ?I woke up angry and threatened half the planet on social media?.
    And the timing?
    Oh mate. Chef?s kiss.
Trump rolls out his shiny new 10% tariffs, then threatens 25% tariffs like he?s upping the ante at a poker table where everyone already knows he?s bluffing. He?s targeting EU countries because they dared to say, ?No mate, you don?t get to just muscle-**** Greenland like it?s a Monopoly property.?
    So what does Europe do?
    Do they panic?
    Do they tweet?
    Do they throw a tantrum?
    No.
They go, ?Cool. While you?re busy tariff-****ing, we?ll just lock in one of the biggest free trade zones on Earth with South America.?
    That?s not reaction. That?s strategy.
This deal links Europe with Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay. Hundreds of millions of people. Enormous agricultural supply. Massive industrial demand. New markets. New leverage. New options. The exact thing Trump hates most because it proves a horrifying truth: the world does not need to revolve around the United States.
This is what tariff fatigue looks like in real life. Countries don?t scream back. They don?t beg. They don?t posture. They quietly build alternatives and leave you shouting into the void.
Trump thinks tariffs are power. They?re not. They?re a tax on your own people and an invitation for everyone else to reroute around you. And Europe just rerouted in spectacular fashion.
And let?s be very clear, this isn?t abstract. This deal weakens Trump?s leverage directly. When you?ve got diversified trade, when you?ve got access to food, energy, manufacturing inputs from another hemisphere, suddenly some loud orange bloke threatening tariffs sounds a lot less scary.
This is the EU saying, ?You don?t scare us. You don?t corner us. And you definitely don?t bully us into handing over Greenland like it?s a ****ing souvenir fridge magnet.?
Trump?s entire negotiating style is based on one assumption: that everyone needs him more than he needs them. This deal punches that assumption straight in the throat.
While he?s playing checkers with tariffs, Europe?s playing long-term chess with supply chains. While he?s yelling ?America First?, Europe?s saying ?Fine, we?ll trade elsewhere?.
And that?s the real blow here. Not the headlines. Not the symbolism. The fact that when those 10% and 25% tariffs land, Europe?s going to feel them a hell of a lot less than Trump thinks.
That?s what impeccable timing looks like.
    No shouting.
    No theatrics.
Just a quiet, coordinated move that leaves the bully swinging at air.
    Trump wanted to show strength.
    Europe just showed competence.
And competence always wins in the end.

No it?s not just that although it does demonstrate his embarrassing weakness on that subject. I repeat, not respecting dignity of women is THE SAME AS not respecting the dignity of race. You still didn?t answer if you agree

Stop with the caps , it demonstrates an aggressive attitude and there is no need. I honestly don't know what you are talking about. Has Starmer or someone else said men can get pregnant?

Even if he has i still don't see that's worse than or the same as being racist, condoning rape, ***ual exploitation of women. and children.

    This is getting really weird.
It’s Sith’s argument, not mine, but it’s also, first and foremost, a forum and as far as I can see, Andy, you haven’t asked Sith a question. You’ve just, in your own inimitable way, got annoyed and avoided answering anything directed at you.

Anyway, happy Martin Luther King Day everyone. Might be the last one the way things are going.

No he hasn?t, it was you who bought Starmer up. Zack Polanski has. AI says : Based on his public statements, Zack Polanski, as leader of the Green Party, would affirm that men can get pregnant.

Maybe be clear who you are on about going forward and details of whats been said rather than making it guess work.

To be honest i don't know loads about Polanski. Had to Google and assume you mean his reaction to Maxine Croxall.

I think she was right with her reaction. I have very little time for this level of PC if I'm honest.

Not sure using Polanski being a bit of an idiot is a great defence for Nigel.

Jenrick saying Truss should have been kicked out the party for her cack handed mini budget.

The mini budget Farage said was the best budget since 1986.
