I think when the discussion moves to whataboutery it may as well be left there. Its classic Farage to use the 'what about the other party' argument.

    Bernard Manning !
Disappointing response. This thread of discussion started with a post by you including off-the-mark opinions of myself, which I thought deserved a full response on all points. Maybe I should have just ignored you like GP did

    Don’t turn into rA 2.0

    Lol. Patronising twit!

Sith is his own man, but what I think the above means is…don’t challenge AF’s view of the world, he doesn’t like it but has no answers.

Says the King of Whataboutery. You’ve spent a decade deflecting any point made contrary to your own view by offering ‘yes but what about’ - some subjects to extreme, I’m sure you can recall

As ever AF you try to make your hurried point but offer either a) no evidence or b) very flawed evidence and then just resort to random accusations.

Tbh I have so many better things to do than enter into futile argument with you - even spending the last hour sorting my car insurance has proved a welcome break - but should you wish to continue then do please provide some evidence, then we’ll know what you’re talking about.

As for warning Sith about becoming ‘rA 2.0’, I well remember you pompously using the same sentiment warning me not to become ‘Swale 2.0’. I took absolutely no notice then and I suspect Sith won’t now. You may want to make sure you don’t turn into Farage 2.0. or even dictator Donald 2.0.

I didnt ignore the post AF, its just I could barely get on the system to post anything these past couple of days!! As it is I havent considered voting Reform but my go to party (Green who have received my X for the past 10 years or so) have changed dramatically under Polanski in a thinly disguised attempt to grab the left voters who have been abandoned by Starmer's version of labour, will no longer receive my support. So it will be screaming lord sutch or a spoiled paper for me

Perhaps you would be wise to wind your neck in? The last time you made a comment about what a poster should or should not do, you ended up looking very foolish.

I note that your ?Good Germans? prediction came true, truer than even your most fervent hope. Your only error was the flag they are waving-red white black and green. How foolish must you feel

Being nasty to posters rather than addressing actual issues you may feel uncomfortable with is in your DNA Swale but there’s always chance for redemption, focus on the issues at hand eh?

I’m off to Manchester shortly so I won’t be contributing further you’ll be relieved to know AF.

Your level of hypocrisy is astonishing though.
Swale isn’t ‘nasty to posters’, he has his moments (we all do), but it wasn’t him who referred to posters who, disagreed with him as ‘four old farts’, it isn’t him who repeatedly and patronisingly tells others how to behave and who to agree with - including the totally inoffensive Sith who does nothing more than very reasonably and politely saying it as he sees it - and it isn’t Swale who repeatedly indulges in name calling.

I won’t go further because I don’t want to piss others off by indulging in the type of personal attacks MA referred to yesterday, but you really do need to have a word with yourself before attacking others - Swale, Sith and I in the last two days, the ‘four old farts’ earlier in the week. You may also like to remember that you are the alleged moderator of this, in your own words, increasingly ‘moribund’ forum. Time to act like it instead of indulging in your all too regular impressions of TTR. We all know what happened to the forum he had the chance to moderate.
