Thread: Will we ever see a 10,000+ home gate this season?

  1. #11
We all have a good laugh sat there when they announce the attendance!

It is a good talking point Brin, better than the endless bicker.

Like Bradford. How cheap are their tickets and their gates average 18k+ ? They also work on the theory that with all those fans in the ground, they make up lost ST revenue on food and beverages, plus team shirts etc. It's a big gamble to take but would it work at ours?

Well I?m a Leeds fan who has a soft spot for the Millers. I?m coming with 2 other mates to see how our Harry Gray is getting on. So, doing our bit for a crowd of 10k +
All of us concessions so tickets were dirt cheap.
Looking forward to seeing a Millers upset. Cardiff well supported so I?m guessing they?ll sell out the away end - is that 2500?

To be fair it depends on how many season card holders turn up. They seem to have been missing big style.

Hope we make it worth it for you and put on a good show. Leeds fan who's a friend of mine says Harry is highly rated by the academy staff - they seem to be working wonders at your Thorp Arch training ground. He says they plan to extend your stadium to c.50-60K capacity - and that there's 20K plus waiting list for season tickets - some list, is that!

Hope you guys stay up - good luck

Cheers mate. The Grays are embedded into LUFC - Eddie, Frank etc. just hope we can keep him. Brother sold to Spurs and I guess Harry will have a similar path.Ground capacity going to 54000 and the waiting list for season tickets is now 26000.
All sounds good but I’m an oldie who prefers things to stay as they are. Prices will explode for sure.
Stadium improvements start this summer and won’t be completed until 2030.

I know you are pal and I welcome your posts on this site. Always balanced and no animosity from West Yorkshire

Harry is doing well for us, slight in build but boy does he have an eye for goal. 2/ 2 now and providing we look after him on the pitch, he keeps himself injury free I see no reason why he can't enjoy his league football with us and we also benefit from his appearances and more importantly his goals.

Obviously he will he will grow more masculine and stature with his age. He is a very gifted young lad and as a Millers fan I am grateful to Daniel Farke and the Leeds Utd board allowing him to come and play for us. I and probaly you, have no idea what plans they have for him in his development but, seeing how he will only be 18 next, they might even allow him another season with us in his development.

Enjoy your day with us and hopefully you see Harry score yet another league goal.

NB. That lad is surely destined for the top of football.......a future HARRY Kane?

Thanks Brin, kind of you to say that. Who knows how his career goes. Like his brother, he says he wants to play for Leeds but the family may want to push him to a big club. Not saying Leeds aren?t big enough but they have to be a top 6 club in the Premiership to retain him I think. We are a way off that I?m afraid and the first mission to be accomplished will be our survival in the Premiership. It?s going to be close for sure.

One of my mates played with Brecks at Burton ( Warnock was manager) so I?m hoping he will be introducing a former player at half time. If so our seats lend themselves to me giving Brecks a shout. A catchup will be great for my friend.

All the best Brin and let?s hope the current Millers run continues, it?s Championship football the club needs not L2
