Have to agree with Raga here.

As brilliant as Gordon can be, and his season in the Champions League shows it, he can also look like he doesn't give af, mainly in the Prem games where things aren't going well for him. A lot of players react like that, but it means you're not contributing when the going gets rough.

We need him to perform in all competitions, not just one. I hope we can make it work with him, an in-form, consistently performing Gordon is a true asset to the club.

And well done to him last night, nonetheless!

When he turned up, he was a hungry determined young man with a chip on his shoulder and a point to prove. With the England caps, Cup win and Howe putting him in the top group of players in the squad it appears that he's forgotten his roots.

Being brilliant in one game in 3 isn't good enough. I prefer players who are gonna give you 7/10 every game rather than a 9/10 once in a blue moon whilst the same player 'doesn't feel it' 4-5 games in a row.

I do hope that the inquiry they had after the Brentford match, which seems to have improved things, sees a return to high standards.

That being said, the change in formation has improved things as well but does spread the squad thin with Gordon playing up top it get's him Barnes into the team which is great but reduces the LW cover. However, that's a different debate for a different thread.
