LibDems enthusiastically pushing the postal vote to the Muslim voters in the upcoming Gorton by-election. I think we know who's going to win this contest then, and how it's going to be won.

When I was seriously involved with the Labour Party mon ami the Tories had the postal vote thingamabob totally boxed off. They really have become anonymous now except for the amount of their top dogs jumping ship and joining Reform.

Starmer is totally pfhucking clueless, he did not even know the Local Elections were coming up.

What's got into you Sir Outwood? Have you become a Gammon whilst I was not watching?

I fail to understand how the Government of the day tolerates Sharia law in the UK but the dislike of or prejudice against Islam or Muslims puts you in the Farage/Yaxley category and that's not good my mate.
Frankly BT I do not mind what label people want to stick on me. Gammon, racist, Nazi, far right etc. My philosophy has been fairly simple. People are either good or bad and on that basis it matters not what colour they are, what religion they are, what their ***ual orientation is. So why do I have a problem with Islam? If you read the testimony in court of the Bolton plotters this is their own words ?Terrorism is our Religion?. I posted their words on Facebook and my post was deleted. Add to that SEPARATE Muslim schools with segregated ***es and if that does not worry you I reckon you are standing in the middle of railway tracks with a locomotive bearing down on you at full speed with horn blaring. Yes there are plenty of good Muslims and yes some Christians and Jews who are not but Islam is an ideology that is a direct threat to democratic values. You may not agree with that but you must also concede people should have the right to criticise Islam. Labour want to now ringfence Islam with a blasphemy law that will certainly be used to shut down legitimate debate. Certain Muslim pressure groups are already complaining the Rape Gangs enquiry and reporting of its findings are racist.

Well said outwood. The problem these days is that 'they' (whoever 'they' are) feel a need to label everyone and this is very prevalent in the political domain where they try to protect 'their interests' by labelling those who conform or do not conform.
As a Veteran, head of a 'Service' family and involved in the Armed Forces Community as a Voluntary caseworker, I have friends of all races, religions, colours, gender, monarchists, republicans etc., etc. all over the world, however, the way that the UK has been going for quite a number of years is worrying because there is a lack of respect for our country and its laws.

My concern Sir Outwood is that two medieval religions are using the UK as a battleground. Starmer and his cronies ringfence Judaism with the same sort of blasphemy law to which you refer that is definitely used to shut down legitimate debate and protest.

We have one lot literally banging their heads against a wall in Jerusalem and another lot lying prostrate on prayer mats with both lots actively hating and killing each other and us numbties are caught in their religious crossfire.

No-one is above the law, grooming gangs here or genocidal thugs in Palestine, all need to feel the full force of domestic and international law but our politicians fanny about worrying over a disgraced Royal and a disgraceful but now dead s-e-x-ual Yankee predator.

Ah, you must know that the monarchy is not above the Law and can be prosecuted for potential wrong doing, as is the case.
It is such a pity that so many MPs of various persuasions seem to find ways of operating outside of the laws of the land but almost always find ways to deflect prosecution.

Chucked under the bus and will this mean he is no longer 8th in line for the crown? What a bloody fool.

Charlie Boy is now treating his own brother by birth as a private citizen who is subject to the law, giving him a perverse yet perfect opportunity to save the Crown by chucking him under a double decker London bus.
