Thread: V Chelsea

For someone who ostensibly is not suited to that role army88, he is a lot more likely to hit the onion bag than your hero Foster. How on earth are we ever going to get our money back on the Foster outlay?

Didn?t mention foster at all - when Ashley came on he unsettled them and Fleming arrived later and equalized

If you think Fleming is suited to that role that?s your opinion of course - for me he?s not mobile enough to play up top on his own.

We?ve never played a system that suits foster but none of you lot will be told - there are only two options with our players they?re either good or poor and that?s it.

I however see positives in most of our players and I also think they?d improve again under a different coach with different ideas.

Foster will never improve as long as he has a hole in his arse. He's useless.

I wish I had a pound for every time people said that about our players and they go somewhere else and become better players

I seem to remember not too long ago McNeil was **** and wasn?t premier league standard at Burnley - lo and behold he wasn?t bad at all and still plays in the premier league.

    All true.

army, you have to remember though that Burnley fans never give their players stick. They are all up in arms because the Chairman has criticised them for doing so and they all swear that they have never given any player any stick at any time.

Will you ever give up on Foster?

I am amazed that you still bang a drum for him as he is lazy, weak and useless. He was just as useless under Kompany and last season in the championship

I don't rate Flemming but he is twice the player Foster is

Moyes doesn't rate McNeil he was trying to palm him off on Palace in the last window. Palace pulled out of the deal in the 11hr they thought they were getting him for 10 million but Everton said no, they wanted 20.

You only have to read the Everton fans forum (grand old team) they give him dogs abuse, they have from the 1st day he signed. McNeil was gutted when the deal to Palace fell through he was going on a 5 year contract, his misses made a right show of herself on the socials saying that he was treated poorly and left high and dry. Simon Jordan on TS ripped into her calling her entitled.

I honestly can't think of many Burnley players who have left the club and improved significantly

Quite a list there Army. I can't fault Flemming for effort and Foster is not weak or lazy, he makes endless runs for balls that never appear. If I were Foster I would have asked for a transfer long ago. He will never look good playing in the system we have now.

Foster was poor playing under the manager who bought him and he's been shockingly bad under Parker. I've given up on making excuses for him.
