I?d pm this if I could because it?s a bit off topic and dull for others. Just that some years ago I had carpal tunnel syndrome and your symptoms sound very similar, albeit in your feet whereas CTS is in the hands.
Needed a minor operation on each hand, about 19 and 17 years ago. Short term inconvenience for long term cure. Surprised no one?s suggested it as a possibility. Worth asking the question.
Covered themselves by saying I might lose strength in my hands but after about two months of weak handshakes and finger/hand exercises I was back to normal with no further issue (touch wood).

Hmmm, thanks. Just off to the docs.

Ta rA. Tinel's test and an EMG done 4 years ago as well as a Doppler test. All showed nothing. That just leaves the MRI which I'm getting shortly. If that shows nothing then we're at the end of the investigation as, from reading online, the EMG would have shown any TTS but didn't. I might be approaching midlife but it certainly isn't a crisis

See Mandelson is the latest to be arrested via AMW’s charge of ‘misconduct in public office’ .
Unrelated in terms of events, but not in terms of the alleged ‘crime’, how come Johnson has never been charged?

Sorry I missed that evidence, what privileged route in do you have? I’m sure if it reaches the plods they’ll take action

Absolutely none at all, AF, but I think it’s quite common knowledge that he repeatedly lied and broke certain rules (and laws?) while in public office.
Maybe it all depends on what constitutes ‘misconduct in public office’…or indeed just ‘misconduct’.

Ah OK, Lived experience for which you are unable to offer any evidence? Cool, sounds like someone who believes what they want to believe irrespective of any evidence to the contrary. There seems to be many people like yourself around these days, I guess its a sign of the times, not letting facts get in the way of a point of view.

I really must count up the number of times you have made an assumption that was wrong, followed by a statement of what you "believe" which was also wrong, or at least factually incorrect! It's amazing really, still I guess you will get something right one day.

We'll have to agree to differ, both on your original assertion and your comeback/personal attack above. IMO we just have a different experience to recount. Whatever response you now offer I'm out of this particular subject. If you count that as 'winning' in some way that's up to you,

I know Boris was a bit dodgy and manipulated rules to suit himself but not sure he is alleged to have done anything as bad as mandelson is?

He broke the rules over covid and got charged for it.

A ‘bit dodgy’. That’s like calling the Andrew formerly known as ‘Prince’ as a ‘bit of a naughty boy’.

Not suggesting that Johnson was guilty of the same as Mandelson may be proved to be, however he held the highest of public office and there can be no doubt that he was guilty of misconduct.

One is, probably quite correctly, demonised - no problem with that - the other keeps his allowance (115,000 GBP pa) and is rewarded with numerous speaking engagements.

Doesn’t seem quite right to me.
