This game failed to live up to expectations after the draw against Southampton as the display was no where near the same standards.

Sonny Carey had an early chance in the first half but much of the pressure came from WBA who had more possession and shots. It didn't help that Lloyd Jones was forced off with an injury before the break.

WBA scored the first goal from a set piece following a corner when defender George Campbell found space to head into goal from close range.

Changes were made in the second half when TC, Conor Coventry and Jayden Fevrier were all introduced to add more impetus.

Lyndon Dykes scored for the Add1cks on 70 minutes from Kayne Ramsay's clever pass. Any impression the Add1cks would go for it afterwards failed to materialise as the hosts continued to pile pressure on the Charlton goal which lived a charmed life. The Charlton defence held firm for the point.

WBA goal: Campbell 45+3
Charlton goal: Dykes 70

Pick of the Players: Kayne Ramsay
