The only comment I have made about his time at Norwich was how badly he treated some of the younger players and it is well documented how he fell out with Russell Martin.

He has a propensity to blame and scapegoat young players - not a cool look in any scenario let alone with potentially valuable young assets.

He seems very think skinned when it comes to criticism too ergo maybe the stance with young players - he is old enough now to know better.

The squad he started with as a baseline was better than Sunderland’s and they also sold to buy.

The purchases made this summer by us have bar one of two been good and in some cases excellent.

He wanted Buenanotte and now he doesn’t even make the bench. Longstaff doesn’t get game time nor does Tanaka - they are good players who can change up how we play where needed.

The problem is Farke has reverted to cautious risk averse football when we need to attack more against the lower sides otherwise they will be able to time waste and frustrate.

On any metric Farke’s inability to react to a game and use subs in a timely way seems to be a big problem. We have been talking about it for seasons but now respected pundits and analysts have clocked it which means other teams can predict how to play against us which gives them a huge advantage.

Whilst defensive formations may work against the top teams that will attack it won’t against those who seek to frustrate. He needs to do better as we have a far better squad than he would have you believe.
