I just thought if we’re all under the one roof we’d have quite an engaging forum and overcome those past bickering. Disagreements will happen no doubt.

I don’t consider there is an - us and them - situation. Being a fairly longstanding contributor to wbamad, my priority is to go there. However, if there are issues getting into that site, I happily have a look at the alternative.
Seems a decent middle road ?

Good morning Regis. If I do say so myself I typed out a quite eloquent six paragraph reply to your post yesterday. Unfortunately when I came to post it the site s hit it's pants before promptly eating my homework. This is the first time I've been able to access the site since and quite frankly I have neither the time or patience to type it again. In short run some kind of thread asking posters what their problems are and with whom. And I want user names please as I have no intention of upsetting anyone's new found equilibrium or delight in football forum paradise. Tara a bit 😉 .

Yep i’ve had that same frustration of typing something up only to get lost somewhere as it couldn’t save it. Even when you eventually have posted and you then want to edit to take out apostrophes or check spelling grammar etc, it deletes it - it’s not fit for purpose. At that point i’ve lost the will to rewrite. If this site was a football manager, we’d not put up with the ****e. So to me this site is like Tony Pulis where as the other site is more Tony Mowbray (the good years). Not tippy tappy 😂

So can?t answer your question.. i don?t want infighting amongst us baggies, yes we have our moments but naming them.. first I might get the wrong name and second it might just annoy others. You have nothing to worry about though.

That?s the point though Regis - slick is not always beautiful. The biggest mistake of wannabes who have a brainstorm is to create a 20 grand plus website then they forget about traffic and where it comes from, Your site has only 4/5 posters ( one John who clearly knows his footie ) and every other post from him is - ? I beg to differ ?. As one of your posters said there are loads who registered but posted once and disappeared - Dubs being one! With posts like - we have great players - Molumby should be captain - retain Wallace and wrong for away supporters to criticise at matches is pure bollox. John knows it, you know it, those who go to matches know it, and my golden retriever knows it!

On here many have been here for years, meet up at games and many know each other. The footballing debates are consistent because everyone knows their footie or goes to the games,

Other topics are banter and look at Omeg who is a great debater. I certainly don?t agree with some things but there?s a respect. You too like coming on here to reply but what does that say about non banter stuff like this on your own site when you pop along. Where is it? People can choose to respond or not and some don?t.

Retaining traffic ie people is the hardest part. I have noticed you now can?t see your posts on the site unless you sign up or are a member! Why do shops have pretty window displays?

Well I do have lots of experience in websites and traffic so the pleasure is all mine 😂

PS - at least this website is faster than Dike, Maja, Wallace and Mowatt 😭😭😭😭😭😭
