I see that idiot Farage was doing one of his pathetic stunts yesterday, claiming that reform will instantly lower the cost of petrol and diesel, whilst ignoring the reason prices are rising due to his "mate" (the one that he flew to the US to meet, but who ignored him over the weekend!) starting a war without thinking about the wider consequences.

One really does have to be either thick, without moral compass or deluded to even consider voting for these dangerous bozos!

Of course I'm sure for the sake of balance an apologist for either of these deranged ****ers will be able to point to some positive action that either of these have taken simply for the benefit of others!

What's the truth? We don't know. Israel has been shouting that Iran was weeks away from having a nuclear bomb for at least 2 decades, IIRC.

I don't think many people expected Iran to bomb in retaliation Oman, UAE, Saudi, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, Kuwait, Bahrain, Iraq. Have I missed any?

It seems they assumed that Iran would respond in the same way as they did last year when attacked. Perhaps nobody thought that assasinating the supreme leader, his family and followers would result in a different response from Iran?

To me it seemed fairly clear that Iran's main from of defence, given that the US weren't going to put "boots on the ground" was to create economic havoc around the area, knowing this would hurt the US and its followers were it hurts, financially.

How the US pulls back from this war, that apparently has been won, or almost won according to the orange buffoon remains to be seen. I guess those that supported or brown nosed the administration, might be a more than a little ruffled now their interests are threatened?
